    Hello America,
    So good to be here...
I am very much looking forward to reading and posting with you all!

About me? Well, I'm an Aussie, so I love Vegemite, sun, surf and sand!
I'm also a bit of a nerd so I like Philosophy, science and contemporary issues.

Finally, like most, I love a good laugh...

That's it for now. Cheers! Sappho.

Not everyone's American here. There are a few Aussies.

But I doubt there is anyone here that loves Vegemite. You might be alone in that.

LOL... The trick to vegemite is to use it like caviar, not like peanut butter or jam!

What? Aussies who don’t love Vegemite? They must be fifth columnists.

Thanks for the welcome. Loving your name Sallyallyallyally… which is what I like to Sally, my daughter! Mostly, I just call her Sal
Ooo, and I see that Texan is here too! Howdy partner. You may know me better as Nom de Plume! Though I'd check out your place.

Well, you can write, which demonstrates:
    1 You paid attention in school;
2 You aren't interested in clubbing people to an early brain death with deplorable grammar and undecipherable strings of words.

    Admirable. Welcome to the forum.

Had to look that up because I've never heard of vegemite. It's made from leftover brewer's yeast? Does it taste like beer?

    Heck no!

It is basically Australia’s joke on the world. It is very salty and has Umami taste but you have to grow up eating it to fully appreciate it

Otherwise use it extremely sparingly on toast
