I admitted one of my Muslim friends the fact that I am not Muslim. As always, he started asked non-nonsensical questions. He threatened me by saying "If you don't go back Islam, I'll tell everybody you are not Muslim and therefore everybody will hate you." What could I do? I said "OK my friend, I am back to Islam."

I am very afraid to question Islam properly, by talking with an Muslim expert. Because eventually they get really really mad at me at the end of conversation.

And, I feel isolated by and discriminated by among these people.

I wish I was born in a better country. I wish I could immigrate without many difficulties.

sad that some people would prefer you pretend to believe their religion, they are content with that, but weirdly get angry when you say you do not believe the same as them

it is working for them though, notice the religions that do this have the biggest share of "believers"... or are they all pretending ;)

Actually, there are many locales here in the U.S. where not being a Christian sorta makes one an outcast...then there's those places where if you believe in any religion period, people avoid you. At least we don't have to worry much about being stoned or beheaded for our beliefs or lack there of.

Stoning and beheading? Or chastising 'non-believers'?

Right! At least we can continue to breath, despite our beliefs or non beliefs....

There's some 'Christian' religions I could never be one.......

Jehovah Witness .... if someone leaves it, even a family member - they're shunned. That is so CRUEL! Same thing w/the Amish - they have shunning...

JW's don't believe in blood transfusions - they'll let their child die instead.

Mormons are family-oriented, but ONLY w/their own... outsiders, even those related to the Mormons are excluded, even at a Mormon wedding, which a friend told me about when their 2 daughters married Mormons. She & husband weren't not allowed to attend their daughter's wedding - they had to sit alone in a small room away from the wedding ceremony both times.....

There's one religion I've been meaning to read up on - the Dominionist Christians? Something like that and they sound pretty .... radical.
