    (This is per cabse5)
Off the top of my head, the top five reasons why blacks can't make it in America are:

    (1) Current black leaders and influencers (the dem party, for example) are socialist...I'd don't mind some are socialist but I do mind that all are socialist.
    (2) Independent thought isn't allowed in the black community.
    (3) The black community doesn't eat right and doesn't enough exercise...I'll post more about this later.
    (4) Blacks as a whole expect reparations and won't work for successes.
    (5) The black community doesn't encourage education.

BTW, Fauci in his commencement speech to the black college said there is a over-prevalence of Covid cases among blacks in America because of racism in America when that statement isn't even scientific...It's political (which Fauci is: a politician)...I'll remind Fauci the epidemiological reason why there's an over-prevalence of Covid cases among blacks in America is because blacks have co-morbidities because blacks don't eat right and they don't get enough exercise.

Numbers 2 and 5 should be 1a and 1b, and as long as they're in thrall to "leaders" and politicians who preach at every turn (AND make a tidy living doing so) racism and racism ALONE is the reason why they can't prosper in America they'll NEVER reach their potential.

(more per cabse5 trying to hijack a religion thread)
Off the top of my head, I can list 5 reasons more heinous than racism which prevents blacks, for example, from being successful in America:
    (1) Blacks are encouraged to be educated only to the completion of high school
    (2) Black leaders and influencers are all socialist.
    (3) The black community discourages independent thought.
    (4) Blacks don't eat right and they don't exercise
    (5) Blacks vote democratic about 95% of the time due to 1-4

you do realize those sound more like racists views of others than reasons for anything

is that your version of Critical Race theory?

"there is a over-prevalence of Covid cases among blacks in America because of racism in America"

    nothing to do with racism

the reason was early on, minorities males were less likely to social distance or wear masks, and now get the vaccine - same is true of white Trump supporters, they have this in common

we don't say White Trump supporters have an over-prevalence of Covid cases due to racism either

Many Blacks can and have been "successful in America" despite social obstacles. 55% are middle class and above now but in 1960 the Black poverty rate was 55%. One thing holding them back besides systemic racism (proven, by the way, in the criminal justice system, hiring, housing and home loans) is the lack of a scholarly tradition. Just about the only thing you got partially right in your little list. I read a study one time on homework by race. Asians spent 2 hours on homework, Whites spent an hour and Blacks spent 30 minutes. So that seems to be cultural.

Probably closer to reality than ACTUAL CRT.

Blacks have greater vaccine hesitancy because of past medical experiments on Blacks that has made the culture mistrust the medical establishment. So something to do with racism.

But blacks can make it in America, assuming by 'make it' we're talking about being wealthy, having social and professional status, mutually benefitting society... lots of blacks meet all these criteria.

And all of those were imposed upon you by White Democrats. They began the systematic dismantling of your immense late 20thC gains, as soon as they realised you were set to move ahead of whites.

Do they distrust the medical establishment when they're having obesity-related heart attacks?

I am following up on something Edna posted in the other thread. I am also happy to see that Edna had now made cabse5 aware of this thread since it starts with a quote from him/her and he/she may want to respond.

Unless of course the particular people loudly condemning racism and protest it happen to hypocritically engage in racism against another target, which a segment of such people do.

If a protest against racist bigots saying "I hate black people" includes saying "I hate white people", that's still racist. And that can be found within some of the "woke".

PS - it is also true that feminism need not be sexist, but feminists who hate men, or who prejudge men for being men, are sexist. Some on the "woke" left refuse to see that too.
