If there is a heaven, why don't more people just kill themselves and go on the the after life.

Some simple ones say it is better than life on earth. So why not do good and kill yourself to get there?

    Simple to answer:

As long as there are people such as yourself on this planet, then our purpose on this earth has not been completed. Each of us have a certain amount of assignments to complete before we can move on; some having more assignments than the others or having assignments that require more time to complete.

What does a scifi tv show have to do with the topic of the thread or for that matter with my previous comments? Is your comment designed to be a straw argument or simply a means of trolling the thread?

Heaven doesn't exist, any man of science or reason knows that.

Avoiding the questions I asked. OK... How is it possible with you living on the west coast of the United States to see what I am doing on the South East Coast? There are no web-cams on my computer.

Anyway.. enough of the off-topic discussion.

Big Bang Theory? Love it. Max Plank's reasons for faith, not a Christian concept of heaven, has been proven wrong— as the principles he pointed to as unknown are now known, more or less.

    Simple.

What physical part of the body goes and where does it go? I believe vitalism was thrown out long ago. As far as things go, when one is dead their mental processing fails to continue. Locked in a little box six feet under the ground, I doubt they go anywhere.

No clue as far as i can tell death is the end

But i don’t know that this is so i just have no reason to think otherwise

Maybe everything I perceive is the work of an evil genius out to deceive me and I can’t know squat

Some do...radical Muslims for instance. However, most Judeo-Christian philosophy call suicide a sin which will send you to the 'other' place.

¿Six feet? We are using nearly 10 feet. Seems we don't trust our deads. Anyway: What do you think is the difference between your opinion here and the opinion of Christians?
