For the record he might win. I think he’s got an uphill battle…with Biden planning to bury him in campaign spending. But if he loses, does he finally release his strangle hold on the gop? Or does he flirt with running again in 2028 against Gavin? Does he stay the party head for another 4 years? He might be in prison for some of it, but I doubt that stops him…..
I do not think he will be able to run in four years or able to do much of anything. His dementia/ brain rot is getting waaaay worse and it will not be much longer before he ends in care. I have also been watching for signs he is physically deteriorating as I strongly suspect, given his reported history of diet and exercise, that he will develop congestive cardiac failure - I consider that more likely than a heart attack/stroke and we may be seeing signs of that in his “low energy” rallies.
