And just like that, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (D) becomes a KKK spin off. LOL. Well done!

You aren't actually dumb enough to think that they conducted the published study, are you?

Imperial College London published the findings of their 12-month study in The Lancet on Thursday.
And that's that. You get vaccinated to increase your own odds of a milder infection. It does not effectively prevent contracting or spreading the disease. Any claim to virtue for getting vaccinated, or lack of virtue for not getting vaccinated is nothing more than pretense.

It's important to understand the progression here:

You seem to have a little problem of understanding: The Lancet talks, if your transcription is correct, about "fully vaccinated individuals with breakthrough infections"...

It might have escaped you that not all "fully vaccinated individuals" have breakthrough infection. Most of them don't, as abundantly documented in studies worldwide.

Hence, your conclusion is totally wrong. Try and pay a little more attention when you read a text, specially when it relates to a subject you know nothing about!

Fake News, my understanding is impecable, you on the otherhand seem to think that a someone proving a link retroactively affects the data integrity of a study that has already been completed and published. That's "sharknado" next level.

Why guess? Show some balls and click the link that was included with quote. Why guess whether or not my quote is accurate when it is so easily double checked. Al Gore went to all the effort of creating the internet and yet here you are leaving dangling opportunities unavailed.
    Nothing escapes me.
No one has claimed that they do.
Fake news, my logic is flawless and my conclusion is unimpeachable.

Aren't all infections of vaccinated people "break through"? It would seem that all vaccinated people can be infected. Break through seems to indicate a degree of immunity that has to be overcome which was the most widely held view initially. These infections of vaccinated people would be very rare but it turns out that they really aren't. The current story is that it will insure a milder infection, no hospital and no death but of course that isn't true either. Vaccinated people end up in a hospital and some die. It's all very confusing.

This administration has badly bungled the response to this virus and over advertised the value of the vaccine. Their response is to double down and force vaccination that is of dubious value. The vax is a tool in this fight and I hope it has value because I'm on board for all three shots and I'm old, but I don't believe the foot stomping demand for the vax and the various claims of what it will do for us. I have 6 close family members who have had Covid and all were vaccinated. While that isn't a peer reviewed study it is my own experience, you know, learn by touching the hot stove?

There are valid questions and the people in charge just get a bigger hammer to overcome that fact.

Are you sure that you are the right person to call others ignorant? Even CDC Director Rochelle Walensky admitted to Fake News CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that the vaccine doesn’t keep people from catching and transmitting COVID-19. Folks get vaccinated in the hopes that they will get a less serious illness. Any pretense to virtue for getting vaccinated or claims that virtue is lacking if you don't is just another fraud being pushed by agents of division and othering on the Left.

It all falls into place once you understand that the vaccines have been consistently oversold by lying clowns.

Similar. Many vaccinated that I know caught it on plane flights. And you may not end up in the hospital, but be prepared to be sicker than you have ever been in your life. In that sense these breakthroughs are "mild" my ass.

:applause::applause::applause: The Fauci-Biden-Phizer -Propaganda clown show.

Since when did Big Pharma start dictating health policy .. eaahhh .. rhetorical question I suppose .. Rockefeller if one really wants to go back far enough .. demonization of "Treatment" which still exists to this day .. and resulted in many deaths in the US -- compared to other nations who did give treatment. 700% higher death rate than India.. Perhaps it was not such a bad idea to give those who contracted Covid a treatment kit... rather than waiting until they showed up at the ICU.

Yes, it can be confusing. Hence it is important to understand that the situation is not static. The vaccines that were developed by Pfizer, Moderna and a few others, were aimed at the virus as it was then, the alpha variant if I remember correctly. When they were approved the Pfizer and Moderna both had an efficiency rated at about 95%, which means not 100% covidproof, meaning also that the appearance of "breakthrough cases" had to be expected.

Then came other variants, for which the efficiency of the vaccines could obviously not have been predicted. The currently dominant variant all over the world, the Delta, proved to be more contagious than the original form, making the vaccines less effective (by how much, I dont know).

The latest variant, the "Omicron" seems to be even more contagious and is now spreading worldwide too. It might replace the "Delta" in, possibly, a few months from now. The good news is that, apparently, it is less lethal as its previous "colleagues". To be confirmed by further data when they will be available.

It looks like your own personnal experience should make you careful. That means looking for reliable information. You won't find that on the social networks or on the abundant so-called "studies" published by lunatics and charlatans of an array of denominations.
The most reliable source, imho, is the CDC. They analyze daily an enormous amount of information and regularly publish updated information summarizing the available knowledge on the matter. Here is a link that can be useful for you:

    https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#rates-by-vaccine-status

You need to understand that the virus is a moving target. Hence scientists all over the world are trying to keep up with its evolution.

That at least partially explains the contradictory directives that were sometimes issued by authorities.

Now, on the masks that have been derided, if not completely condemned, by machos, rednecks and self-appointed vigilantes under the stupid "my choice" slogan, it doesn't take a Nobel prize scientist to understand that any obstacle you put in the way of mist particles carrying a virus can only help in reducing (not stop it 100% as some idiots pretend it should) the transmission of the virus, both from the person who wears it and to the person who wears it. No wonder masks are regularly worn by Japanese, Chinese and other Asian people, usually as a protection against the flue, even when no pandemic exist.

~ The term " breakthrough " is jive talk - no such thing. So far the experimental "therapeutics " ( vaccine ) offer temporary protection. That's it. We all learn as we go - including the "experts ".
Hopefully when NovaVax is out we may have something better.

    Carry on ... :ashamed:' :blahblah:

~ Yes indeed. This information is all over the place. Side-effect issues are also being muddled and twisted. Approx. 90 million in USA are already immune from previous infections. Some ignore facts to feel superior I suppose ...'

If you only followed directions from health authorities since this all started you still wouldn't know which direction you were going. Masks comfort old people who are scared to death by all the directives from experts and administration spokespersons.

I read most of the posts here by people who seem to have solid medical backgrounds. Reminds me of OSHA. If everybody followed all the OSHA rules and methods there would never be another oilfield accident. There wouldn't be much work done either. There is no solution that solves every situational problem so we have to make some decisions for ourselves based on advice we have. Mostly I go unmasked except where it is posted that masks are required. They may give some protection but their main value is teamwork. We replaced handshakes with elbow bumps. (Didn't I just see you cough into that elbow?)

Actually... I don't need to explain you since you know very well but, for the benefit of the few members who haven't debunked you, yet, you obviously enjoy spreading misinformation and anti-vax propaganda.

You start out crying "Sheer Stupidity" -- but gave no explanation of what you thought was stupid and why .. which is "Sheer Stupidity"

Now yo double down on "Sheer Stupidity" crying "Anti Vax Propaganda" but give no explanation of what you are referring to.

Do you have anything other than "Sheer Stupidity" to offer ?

You start out crying "Sheer Stupidity" -- but gave no explanation of what you thought was stupid and why .. which is "Sheer Stupidity"

You follow up crying "Anti Vax Propaganda" again no explanation (SS)

I asked - Do you have anything other than (SS) to offer ?
Wow .. more enlightenment from the peanut gallery again we have again (SS) - stating no need for you to contribute anything but (SS) - Then run from the playground crying "Stupidity .. Stupidity .. Sheer Stupidity" .. in a fit of pure, unadulterated projection .. your demonstrated quality onto others....

Toddle off home now - and tell mommy to wash mouth out with soap.

    Next question;

Are vaccines more or less effective than natural immunity at preventing hospitalization?

Natural Immunity is better at preventing death .. and hospitalization in general .. .. but the question is not a good one .. as is not the same for all people. Nor is there any significant difference in transmission.

So .. when you talk "Death" you have to separate people on the basis of risk. Overall - the vast majority of people have a very low risk of death.. In my region .. 5 million people - 4 waves - death rate is 50% higher than normal death by influenza/Pneumonia..

So .. average is 20/100,000 - we are at 30/100,000. So when you say " Ahhhhhhhh" OMG .. a 50% increase .. context matters.

Now .. of those deaths 97% have 1 or more comorbidity .. over 70% with 3 or more = had a doctors note stating they were going to die soon.

So if that isn't you .. your of death is - 1/100,000 - As stated previously .. 9 our of 10 die from pneumonia .. so if you are not pneumonia succeptible (and lots are - and is not a comorbidity) divide by 10 = 1/1,000,000

Now .. 70% who die are obese .. Covid likes those fat cells apparently (read a study the other day)

Now this is risk of death for folks in Group A who have not have covid.. the ones that had it and survived .. just obscenely low risk.

Now . your mission .. should you choose to accept it .. being an avid vaxer and all .. tell me what the risk death from the vax is .. and then tell me why someone in Group A .. who has had covid - should risk harm to themselves much greater than that of Covid.

The above relates to the Old Nasty Covid .. Omicron is turning out to be far less risk of harm .. as is the natural course of a virus .. and far less effected by the Vax

Do you suppose CDC's frequently changing definitions might have anything to do with poor understanding by the masses?

It all falls into place once you understand we've all been deceived, that this was a planned event, and that the evidence showing that is abundant.

    ???????

Natural immunity isn’t a preventive measure!

You have a peculiar way of justifying your beliefs.

In addition to the above, what’s better than natural immunity?

Answer; Hydroxy and zinc.....because said combo prevents an infection.

didn't say it was a preventative measure - Those who have already had covid = have "natural immunity" - and so have no need for the vax ..
