Exactly. No doubt Obama would lose to a generic Republican, but he's going to be running against real unfavorable people, not some theoretical spot on a ballot you can pin your hopes and dreams on.
Romney with the right vp could win....but the right hates him and it would take more bad (*)(*)(*)(*) happening that can be reasonably pinned on Obama
It's still going to be a choice between Obama and the GOP candidate. You can thnk he's doing a bad job but not be willing to roll the dice on a goper
It's actually the left that hates mormons. You know this. The right is quite nice to them. We're just not thrilled about Romney.
The Right doesn't hate him, we have concerns about some of his views and some of his shenanigans in Taxachusettes. Mello, you have a lot of delusions about US, but little information.
I think Romney or Perry could beat Obama right now. And a year from now the Vacationer in Chief will be even weaker.
Sure live aren't fond of mormOns, but we don't find them kookier than most of the other religions It's evangelicals who don't consider them Christians, but they don't consider catholics Christian either How did we end up on Mormons anyway?
Not counting him out at all! Just trying to explain our level of excitement. I would love to go with Gingrich, but we can't screw this up with picking someone more vurnerable to a nasty campaign. I hope we pick him and I hope I'm wrong about his strength going up against Obama. But, I'm not sure. Clearly the American public taught us in 2008 that suave is the in thing. Perhaps the last few years was a reminder that we have to pick someone with substance, but I'm not so sure the lesson was learned. Romney is more well rounded, I think (just incase the lesson wasn't learned by enough people). But, Gingrich would be best for the country. Paul would be best for our economy.
Oh please....first trump then Bachman now perry....you guys are trying to find anyone else to nominate OTHER than Mormon mitt
Exactly...I'm afraid of the baggage. Not that his baggage would bother me, but might the independants and embattled Democrats. We can't just pick someone that we love or that is best for the country. We have to pick someone that appeals to most people. We have to beat Obama.
Are you twelve years old? Is this the first presidential primary you have ever seen? Must be because your supposition is less than ignorant, it's stupid.
Romney is plenty viable. He beats Obama in a hypothetical head-to-head election. I've been pulling for Perry and Paul, but Romney will do just fine. He'll smoke Obama.
ok but I dont wanna hear any whining aftert he leaves office that you still didnt get a conservative and how real conservatives never liked him yada yada... you know, all the (*)(*)(*)(*) we hear about Bush now.
WAAAAAAA! Try reading, con boy. Perry can talk endlessly about his lousy accomplishments, and he'll still plug both feet with both barrels still in their holsters via his sightless mouth. I believe that's the closest you've come to blaming nutBush, starting to wake up, eh? Hurts to watch, huh? Run away, be very run away! I don't think you want us to review those performances... Perry's tounge is only worth something to the opposition, it's priceless. Say it out in the lineup and see where it gets you. That's another reason why we don't trust what you say. Dude's knocked and counted himself out, what a lightweight! Just don't believe it! Too bad it's true, eh? Your side maybe, and we know why. But I love watching the hate crowd, on national TV no less, eat their own until the last man standing runs away in embarrassment. Can you say 4 MORE YEARS, BABY!
Well, I'm not a conservative, so that really doesn't matter to me. I just want Obama to lose and lose bad.
Truer words were never spoken. Rick Perry makes George Bush look like a genius......... Whomever the Republicans nominate, they will have to debate the Kenyan Tyrant.......who was able to fool 50 million brain dead idiots with debate and speaking ability alone. I dont hate Perry, I just feel we can do a whole lot better. . . .
