Here we sit, the Trump hate crowd believes every bad thing they ever heard about Trump regardless of whether it is True or not and I haven't seen any indication that any of it is true. Meanwhile we on the right look at the evidence of patently obvious influence peddling by family Biden and wonder why they left can't see or at least won't admit to it. Neither side believes any thing the other says. So where do we go from here?

If you are unhappy with a relationship, because the other side doesn't do everything you want them to do, how do you fix it? You could sit around, complain and hope that the other side will change. Or, you could show some introspection and look at yourself asking the question: How do I contribute to the problem? So, you complain that the "Trump hate crowd" believes everything bad about Trump, whether true or not, while you admit that you don't believe anything bad about Trump, because you see "no indication". On the other hand, you believe everything bad about Biden. Why? Because you are deeply immersed in RW media, who peddle the Trump love and Hunter spiel 24/7. So, instead of pointing fingers, you could take the first step and get your nose out of RW media. It will be difficult, though, because it is highly addictive. So, to the question as to where we go from here: The problem won't get better unless people start saying: Enough is enough, I am tired of the 24/7 propaganda and I'll stop consuming it. Baby steps. You can be the first and make a contribution.
Both sides are massively entrenched in their mis-information and completely unwilling to remotely find common ground or expose themselves to alternative perspectives outside their partisan echo chambers. This forum proves it.
We aren't in a battle of ideas, logic or facts. Its a battle against evil hatred. All each can do is stand firm on what is right and principled and not waste energy on changing hearts and minds. Just like you can't reason with someone who simply hates Jews-- with facts or reality, you can't talk someone out of hating Trump with facts or reality. Trump haters are driven by emotional vitriol -not logic. It is what it is and consumes their everything. In other words---they don't care if Biden is breaking the law. They only "feel" Trump.

Yep, and the propaganda only works because people are listening to it. I don't have cable at home, so I don't have the "news" shows on 24/7. I could care less what Rachel Maddows claims on TV every night, because I can't watch her. That's the point: If you complain about propaganda, then you have to stop watching it. It starts with yourself. Just demanding that the other side stops with the propaganda, while you keep watching and spreading yours, is not helpful.
Not taking sides in this or trying to affix blame to one side or the other..... How exactly would one go about avoiding propaganda in this day and age? Isnt this board filled with propaganda? The internet? TV? Newspapers? Radio? Magazines? Where does one find this propaganda-less paradise that you speak of?
Almost the only thing I watch is science programming and the various history channel clones and sports and not much of that anymore. I pick up part of the brett baier show on fox. during supper but that's about it. Once in a blue moon I will pick up some alphabet soup news just to see what the liars are lying about today.
Some of it comes from his own mouth. He has a history of making threats, some no doubt to amuse his MAGA minions but other comments are seen as more threatening. Well, the Orange Oaf is not a benign force given his effort to steal the 2020 election. Hunter Biden pitches himself an insider. Does he promise a chance to be heard--or more? Has Old Joe ever delivered to a Hunter Biden client? So far, no one has connected Old Joe to wrongdoing. We're going to see if the political center holds in this country. It didn't in 1930's Germany and ended in tragedy for Germans themselves. I have a suggestion to the political middle: no gun grabbing, no bans on abortion (Canada has no abortion law and has a lower abortion rate), and end the "war in drugs." We can register addicts and provide registrants with the drugs they crave at cost. Addicts who commit other crimes can be forced into rehab. Money saved on cops and prisons can be redirected to rehab which as we know can be expensive.
I dislike both sides and both candidates for president because I know they be on the take, I never talk up criminals and hate my government.

Yes, all of these sources are filled with propaganda. However, some sources are pure propaganda, whereas others at least make attempts to be objective. That's why I prefer to use sources that either contain original quotes of what the politicians have said, or cite original economic data, for example from the St. Louis Fred etc. Of course, we all know that there are posters on here who are only too happy to post photoshopped images, miquotes from the Babylon Bee, cherry picked data, and all the usual methods to push a partisan agenda. The point is, if someone posts photshopped images themselves, then they are in no position to accuse the other side when they use photoshopped images for their own propaganda. The other issue is your sentiment that EVRYTHING is propaganda. Well, if this is the case, one can't believe anything that's supposed to be factual, and, thus, base opinions on feelings only, rather than facts. Unfortunately, that's excatly what is happening on both sides. Inconvenient facts are rather easily dimissed. Now, speaking for myself, I at least make an attempt to avoid posting propaganda on here. I don't always succeed. However, I think is starts with everyone from the bottom up. We can't expect our leaders to behave morally, when we are willing to do the dirty work for them, by knowingly spreadin their propaganda. Then how do you know everything about Biden's purported crimes and the Hunter saga? Because the details, whether true or not, seem to be a big thing in RW media only. P.S.: I like the part about listening to science programming. We'd all be better off the more people know about science.
