Today, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced that the Gun Bill that will be submitted to the Senate will not include an Assault Weapons Ban (AWB). Instead there will be an Admendment to the Bill that will be offered that will include an AWB along with other unpopular ideas. No one expects the Admendment to pass. It is funny how this bill was necessary in light of the Sandy Hook Shooting, but it does nothing to prevent this type of attacks.
