I think it's more acceptable with the younger generation (my own). I personally see no issue with it; people are people, regardless out their skin pigmentation. Judgment of character is what should be relevant.
It's now the opposite. Disapproving of interracial marriage has become taboo. Rates are apparently lowest in the Midwest and highest in the West.
