I'm not confused at all. I've known all along the 1/6 Committee was a scam.

Using the phrases "kangaroo court" and "Charging him" prove otherwise... Sorry I had to do that to you...

The 1/6 Committee can't charge him with anything. That's not its role as the legislative branch. Are you confused about its stated purpose?

An opinion would be better indicated by using phrases like "I believe" or "I think"

You said "I've known" indicating there are facts behind that, which of course, there are not.

Of course. That's why people vote for different politicians. They interpret "facts" differently.

It doesn't matter, the principle issue is on the so-called fake electors. Whether they be from Arizona or Georgia or wherever. Yet, there hasn't been any official action taken either by a state or by the federal government. If Congressional subpoenas are viewed the same way as a warrant, then the clause of the amendment that specifically says 'you need a warrant' might as well either be thrown out the window or be amended. But until it is amended, it'd be nice if we I don't know followed the intent of the letter of the law LOL.

An informant warned the FBI weeks before Jan. 6 that the far-right saw Trump tweet as 'a call to arms,'

One of the FBI’s own confidential sources warned the bureau in December 2020 that the far-right viewed Trump’s tweet summoning his supporters to D.C. on Jan. 6 as “a call to arms,” according to emails reviewed by NBC News.

That previously unreported tip to the FBI, from a source who is still used by the bureau, warned there was a “big” threat of violence on Jan. 6. It was among hundreds of pages of reports viewed by NBC News that this source sent to the FBI in the weeks before the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The reports add to the growing pile of evidence that the bureau received intelligence that indicated Jan. 6 was a major threat.

Jan. 6 committee releases report detailing scope of Trump's pressure campaign to overturn the election

The House Jan. 6 committee unveiled its formal report Thursday, capping its historic 18-month investigation into the deadly attack on the Capitol and former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. The report lays blame for the Jan. 6 attack at the feet of the 45th president and recommends Congress look to ban him from holding future federal office. The committee also recommends overhauling election law to prevent another Jan. 6. and urges federal agencies to undertake a “whole of government strategy” to root out and combat violent extremism, including white nationalists.

What 'Democratic Report' would not be complete without a mention of 'White Nationalists'. For people who purportedly care for the environment, they sure burned a lot of trees this week in compiling this hot smoldering garbage. At least the 118th Congress, with a Republican House has potential to do less damage.

Pro-Trump protester Ray Epps told Jan. 6 committee 'crazy' conspiracy theories tore apart his life

    Ryan J. Reilly
Thu, December 29, 2022 at 2:27 PM CST

WASHINGTON — An Arizona man who became the target of online conspiracy theories after joining protesters outside the Capitol on Jan. 6 told a House committee that he wasn't secretly working for the government during the attack and that the campaign against him has torn apart his life.

Ray Epps told the Jan. 6 committee that the theory that he was working for the FBI never made much sense, given that Epps’ image landed on an FBI poster in the immediate aftermath of the attack. He wasn't working for the CIA, or the NSA, or the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, he said.

“The only time I’ve been involved with the government was when I was a Marine in the United States Marine Corps," Epps said.

I loved the NYT piece that said Epps was not an FBI asset because there are no income tax forms showing he was. That's not how this works most of the time. They could have threatened him. Bribed him off books. Did a quid pro quo.
He was an apparent asset as he did things the Left/Establishment wanted done (on video inciting the law breaking) yet never did a day in prison because, to paraphrase, he went to the FBI and talked with them. Uh huh. That is how they work: you can be a primary instigator of something like 1/6 and they won't press charges if you talk to them.

They needed 1/6 to be the false flag that distracted the nation for years so we'd stop talking things like the apparent theft of the 2020 POTUS election.

For this and other reasons, we can conclude the left/establishment knew Trump did not and would not incite violence. So they needed to do it themselves.

EDIT: In your link he repeats that he thought he was not inciting violence even though, on video, he concedes he's probably going to jail for this as he knows what he is doing is inciting lawlessness.

Of course, the problem for poor ol' Ray Epps is it is impossible to prove a negative. Realistically, you should be nicer to one of your own and stop accusing him of being a secret agent man just because he is a rioter who got caught on camera encouraging his fellow extremists to invade the Capitol building.

But, whatever. If you want to contribute to ruining his life over it, I guess you're free to do that. May it be a lesson to all who would embrace Trump's lies and do or encourage violence of any kind based on them. He isn't the only one who has suffered consequences for being taken in by that manipulative, evil cult leader.

Even the crowd knew him for what his is, and this is BEFORE the FBI declined to put him in prison for actually doing what they accuse Trump of doing.

How many of the rioters and insurrectionists were undercover agents, in your opinion? How does that actually work in your mind?

More than one. Why? Why even one? Because the Deep State needed something to distract from, among other issues, the appearance that Biden stole the election.

There is also the hope by them that they can keep Trump from running and winning another POTUS election ever. Cuz, "hey, we'll destroy the energy sector, crash the economy, get you into WW3 while selling out US interests non-stop" is just not a good election slogan.

It’s absolutely a scam and I’m glad republicans have stood against it. One of the few times I’ve seen republicans have a back bone.
