Is Abbott a Phony

There are obvious mixed feelings about Abbotts true character but one would suspect that some people turn a blind eye due to the credibility of their persuasion and forgetting about morality! How about we make a list of all Tony's public misdemeanors and see whether there is legitimate concern regarding his prime ministerialness and whether he is made of the right substance to represent the Australian people!

In my mind abbott is a deceiving, lying, conniving, nasty political figure who also has an ego problem in the same class as Warwick capper!

Once the list is close to being exhausted I will endeavour to neatly gather all points into one post.

It's not a flamebait but an attempt to put this particular issue into perspective whichever way it pans out.

I would appreciate that one post would be dedicated at a time to one of Abbotts lies or deceptions for clarities sake.

 

TV this could be interesting if it remains a fair minded debate, which I doubt it will. Nonetheless lets push forward. I recommend to make things fair respondents may also refute the claim without bias ( trying to control my sarcastic giggle ) and also find fault in his main adversary, the lovely and well rounded, Julia Gillard. This way we will be able to see if Big Ears is worthy of the job, or if the Ginger Whinger has been an adequate PM.

I would like to say fair fight all, but something tells me this thread may descend into utter disgrace !

She didnt purposely mislead, there were changing circumstances. In any instance a fixed price period was an economic recommendation and only temporary while business certainty was established. Gillard`s carbon tax isn`t "a simple tax", it`s a convoluted abortion, a dud fest of the lowest order. The floors and faults of the great "carbon tax swindle" have been progressively manifesting themselves ever since it`s introduction. At last count to my knowledge, there had been eight ammendments to the ALP carbon tax since it`s introduction, but this is only to be expected from people who have never had to do anything in their lives.

Admittedly, Abbott has had no need to try too hard in his position of leader of the opposition, due to the sleazy, incompetent nature of the present Federal Government. When we see such weak and desperate arguments as the one you put forward, TV, it only assists Abbott`s cause. If you can`t pin anything real on Abbott, and are forced to desperate distortion, it only makes you look silly, not Abbott.

Don`t forget TV, most of broader Australia aren`t blindfolded by fanaticism, or bigotry. Those of us who posess the ability to think for ourselves, have seen Gillard lie time and time again. We have seen the dirty and desperate attempts to discredit the opposition. We have seen the appeal to feminist sexism, to condemn Abbott for thought crimes that have an emotional knee jerk reaction, in that sector.

This "Government" couldn`t organise a chook raffle, we know it, they know it. They cry foul when the opposition oppose their "policys", and react with gutter tactics, personal attack, more lies and deception.

The real issue is, that Abbotts, Bishop, Howard are not liberal, but strong nationalists, with tendencies towards Hitler. Just pure bad......

I think he presents himself pretty accurately. But if in some bizarre twist, he doesn't turn out to be a crazy religious idiot who jumps on every political bandwagon passing by, and he actually has a collection of visionary and progressive reforms, is a secret proponent of social justice, and a highly competent leader, well then we could admit that he totally fooled us all.

 

If any one thing was to be THE reason not to allow Abbott to become PM, this would be it.
