We keep hearing from the left that democracy is under threat and everyone needs to vote for them but this seems risible, Trump and co were in power for 4 years and democracy was just fine, this seems some desperate flannelling on their part.
Democracy is the people making laws. They can't do it directly, so they elect representatives, that's called Representative Democracy. So democracy is the people having a vote for their representatives to make laws. So democracy is under threat? Can the Left expand on that? Do they feel people won't be able to vote? Do they feel the people won't have others to represent them? So what's the detail on this? Can I assume some don't know what democracy means? If you don't have a robust voting system and refuse to audit it, by the definition of what a democracy is, then democracy is under threat by not having a robust audited voting system. I do believe America's Republicans want a robust auditable voting system, something the Democrats are against. So it's confusing people.
Yes, this could very well be the last chance to save our democracy and our freedoms. If the Democrats retain, or heaven forbid, increase their majorities in the House and Senate, they will push for the federalization of the election process. Once they get that "reform" in place, which will allow them to do away with voter ID and allow voter registration on Election Day, voter fraud will enshrined in the statures. Elections will become free for all’s where each side will compete to see who can round up the most fraudulent voters. The main reason for the Democrats' open border policies is that they are counting on the vast majority of the illegal immigrants to vote for them. If the illegals are able to vote without IDs and register on Election Day, they will have the same voting rights as U.S. citizens.
