Is Andrew Tate's popularity among young men a result of male bashing?

And since I edited this after you posted, @FreshAir

If what Tate is doing is "pushing back against misandry," then pushing back against misandry means beating, raping, and sex trafficking women while training men to treat women as property and using them to cheat elderly men into selling their homes so that you can get fancy cars. So, yeah, that's worse.

Hopefully the other messengers won't be pieces of **** psychopaths who beat and rape and sex traffic women while building an empire on exploiting both men and women. But it won't matter. You can't talk about him, so you won't be able to talk about them even if they come to exist.

not the same at all, but you're focusing on the wrong thing, this thread is about the "why" these young men are listening to people like Tate

it's because he is saying out loud what people in their society would punish them for it if they said it, just look how you're reacting to me saying both are bad

yes, OnlyFans is also becoming a thing with young women, another bad direction society is taking, but per your statement above, one Tate seemed to pick up as profitable as well before it's time, now these women can do it without a middle man (well with a web company being the middle man)

I can't even find any videos of Tate actually talking about misandry (except his own). I can find lots of him preaching misogyny and his own misandry and his scams and confessing to his own crimes. And, once again, even if he WERE preaching against misandry, then you could just as easily excuse that misandry in the EXACT same way you are avoiding talking about Tate. Misandrists, according to your own logic, listened to misandry BECAUSE of misogyny. The misandrists were just saying out loud what people in misogynistic society would punish them for if they said it, just like how you are reaching to me saying both are bad.

the point is, people are pushing back on misandry and people telling them they things like "Well boo-hoo! Men can't handle a little bit of name calling any more, I guess. Good thing they don't have to give birth." is not helping

and I agree with you, misandry became popular because of misogyny, some on that side of the fence pushing back and went too far

And how is what Tate is doing helping, or even in any way excusable?

And you are LITERALLY defending men by claiming they can't handle a bit of name calling from strangers on Tumblr but that women should endure far worse.

he got people talking, now it's taken a life of its own, it's not going away, it's an issue in society effecting many young men today

how is what you're doing helping put a stop to misandry?

Yes. Many young men are following the cult of a rapist, abuser, sex trafficker and mimicking his misogyny. The difference between you and I is that I know that's a bad thing.

But, hey, John Wayne Gacy got people talking about the birthday clown industry, so why criticize his murder spree?

I do not follow Tate or any feminists, but over the years I have heard many go too far, surely you have too

both sides had valid issues, and yes people attacked extreme feminist to try to kill the movement too, just like you're doing.... did it work

None as far as Tate. None as destructive and influential as Tate. None as harmful to BOTH men and women as Tate. None you are more desperate to hide from discussing than Tate. None as obviously criminal Tate. How can you not understand taht there is a difference between some no-name blue haired feminist on Twitch sharing a mean post that almost no one reads to Tate influencing millions of men and running an abusive empire that harmed both men and women? I know you won't actually answer my question.

nope, you're trying to join the two together, that is not helping - Misandry is the issue, regardless who is pushing the message

I don't watch Tate, but I have seen a few youtube videos and can see why people listening to his message

and after my conversation with you here, I see why many young men do not want to speak out in real life, you should be supporting their cause, then maybe they would not tune into people like Tate

people that say things like "Well boo-hoo! Men can't handle a little bit of name calling any more, I guess. Good thing they don't have to give birth."

it's validating their issues, one's others are trying to silence them about

You are telling people they should listen to Tate. I've explained why they shouldn't. I've linked to his direct quotes explaining why. You've admitted you haven't listened to a word he said. I don't think you have adequately explained why "men" should listen to a psychopathic abuser.

You've quoted no one saying that. And you can't even remember who said it, if they said it. Tate has said far, far worse, with NO relation to your imaginary statements, and he has a bigger audience, and he's actually abused women. This is a fake comparison. This is the same as saying, "Well, I don't want to talk about anyone decapitating anyone because I've heard rumors of people also chopping off fingers and we should talk about them instead. And the decapitator was just reacting to the finger-choppers." You need to learn this is a bull **** argument.

Apparently enough listened to him that they went to his island with him. And Tate (who has defended Epstein) is a bit of a predecessor.
