You are incorrect. Most commercial eggs are not fertilized, because the hens have not had sex with roosters. Hens produce eggs whether or not they are fertilized. http://www.chowhound.com/food-news/...nce-between-fertilized-and-unfertilized-eggs/
Don't ever tell someone who was raised on a farm, gathered eggs every single day, wrung our own chickens' necks, and grew corn to feed them (and us) that she is wrong about farms. Or did you miss the word "farm" in my post? Not to mention your silly response doesn't come close to addressing what I said.
You were dismissing the girl as wrong, while she isn't--she was simply talking about something different than what you were. The majority of eggs most of us (that aren't on the family farm) eat are not fertilized. That's a simple fact. I don't care about the rest of your silly argument with her--it's irrelevant to the issue of fertilized vs. unfertilized eggs. It's a simple fact. Commercial chicken farms where most of us get our eggs don't have roosters, and due to that, are not fertilized. Chickens raised free range on a farm are a different matter.
