Is Islam moral

You can name some of the moral things about Islam, if you want.

 

Islam could be moral but what people do under the name of Islam is clearly not moral.

Well, a tree is judged by its fruits. What good is it if Islam is the most divine theology if it leads to great suffering?

 

Islam is based off of many parts. You can't say it is or isn't moral. You had to specify which parts are.

 

You know that later verses (more violent) in the Koran override the initial ones (calm ones), right?

 

Who gets to say that the bad ones override the good ones? I think you meant to say "My opinion is that the later verses override the initial ones"

No dude, the later verses override the previous ones. On tne contrary, later verses should be concidered moral and hence valid in Islam.

Imo, morality and religion are human social inventions
As such these inventions contain various arbitrary characteristics of human societies

 

Depends on what your definition or moral is, if it includes sexism, racism, homophobia, and violation of human rights then yes, Islam is moral.

 

I am a Christian and do believe in God but I have never believed in religion. Believing and following any religion is not a good idea. If people would worship at the church of their own hearts instead of an established church the world would be better off.

 

Islam defines its martyrs by the murders they commit. Is there really a question of Islam's morality?

 

Islam is primarily a system of government and laws---Sharia Law.

It's status as a religion is secondary.

Words in the Koran are a call FOR action.

Words in the Bible, like laws in the Old Testament are not. That's why you don't see modern evangelical Christians stoning sinners in the streets.

The Liberals think they do, but you don't see any liberals milling around in Yemen or Syria.

 

Syria isn't currently run by Islam though. I have always thought it would be best to send the Liberals rabidly defending Islam to Saudi Arabia. I wonder how long they will be defending them as they watch the gays get thrown off roof tops and stoned to death.

What I also think is funny is many pro life people have adopted at lest one child, but I have never heard of a Liberal take in even one Muslim refuge in there house.

I think it's because deep down Liberals know the truth but want the "other side" to always be wrong so they buy into there own delusions on the matter to sleep better at night.
