if you delete all thumb.db files, will it cause troubles to your picture files?

It will screw with your thumbnails, that's about it.

**Warning** DONT DO IT IF YOU HAVE DELL SOFTWARE INSTALLED, YOUR PC WILL LOCK ITSELF IN A DELL ERROR SCREEN. **Warning**

It's just a cache file. If you delete it, that just means thumbnails may take another second to load.
It is just an unnecessary windows file.

As for the Dell issue Capitalism mentioned... you may want to consider that if you use Dell.

    Highlight/delete seems to work fine.

If you mean "all"... then search "thumbs.db" in the search window, upper right corner of your explorer window.
Then delete all the files it finds matching that name.

    thanks.
it listed only two, I guess there are many hide in many places.

and if I do C: cleranup, and check the box-thumbnails.
will the system delete all images files or all thumb.db files?

MS hired a lot of fools.
They created so many stupid things.

I delete these thumb.db files, they appeared again.
