Santorum and newt whine daily about being outspent by Romney...

But here's the good news... Paul got more money than they did !

From one of my Favorite sources..

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/03/16/paul-raises-nearly-3-3-million-in-february/

(CNN) – GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul kept his winless campaign afloat in February by spending nearly $300,000 more than he raised in the same month, according to a monthly financial disclosure his campaign filed with the Federal Election Commission on Friday.

Paul’s February spending of $3.54 million outpaced his fund-raising of $3.27 million, and he ended the month with $1.36 million in the bank. His campaign reported carrying no debt.

In January, the candidate reported raising $4.5 million – the same amount rival Rick Santorum reported that month.
    END..

So it's not money holding him back...

When will he join TEAM ROMNEY and finally learn...backing the right candidate IS a team Game.. :handshake:

Ron Paul's campaign is certainly impressive in the fact that they can draw in so much money for a candidate that is often overlooked by the media and many people in general. But having more money does not always translate into winning elections. It obviously helps to get your name and message out to the public, but if people don't care for either, then the money is pretty much worthless.

But Ron Paul has clearly gained more support this time around than he did 4 years ago, and the people he can count on for support are incredibly loyal. Paul has certainly found a base that is passionate and determined to see him win the nomination. He has a following that I'm sure the other 3 candidates would love to have backing them.

The problem with Paul's campaign is that most people don't seem to care for challenging the status quo. A lot of people seem to prefer sticking with the same bland candidate who has the same regurgitated solution that the last dud had the previous election year. A lot of people think Paul is crazy and unrealistic and the fact that he is so different from the rest is what hurts his chances of winning. And its not like he jumped into this race for name recognition or a way to sell himself for some other prospect in the future. No other candidate would pick him up as a VP choice or bring him in for some high level cabinet position in the White House. He is toxic for the other candidates. Paul's only hope is to bring enough influence into politics that the way we campaign and the way we govern changes for the good of the country instead of for the party.

I don't think any of them are the right candidates.

So IF Paul made a deal with Romney to be the Secretary Of The Treasury you would hold it against Romney and stay home or vote Obama.. ?

    Someone used to say..

Paul knows Romney is a hack, he won't back him. If he did his supporters would inevitably vote for PrezBO or third party.
