Do you think he is trying to do better? How much influence do you think the state department and others will have?

This is a CNN story !!!

You know the same CNN who was in collusion with Crooked Hillary campaign and provided the skunk with the questions to be asked at a debate.

The author of the CNN article is Samantha Vinograd.

Did Samantha follow the new CNN rules and ran this story first by Rich Barbieri or Jason ?

    Apacherat (can't improve on that);

CNN making the rules is like putting a rat being in charge of the cheese.

He's clearly trying to do a good job, he's just not good at keeping his mouth shut, and remains under the influence of some bad ideas.

The main problem is that his campaign promises were among the worst any American president has ever made, and he feels torn over whether or not he should implement them though his advisors warn him that they're awful.

    And my God they're awful.

"I'm not upset over the election"?

    Okay, then say after me:

I respect the Office of President of the United States

Donald Trump is the President of the United States

He was elected fairly under the Constitution of the United States

Hillary Clinton lost in a fair election.

Although I may disagree with his policies, he has the right to propose them.

He has the constitutional right to issue executive orders.

    Thanks

All true, in fact I despised Clinton as a bottom feeding, elitist, entitled, snob, however I maintain that our president is doing a very poor job as president.

Okay, I'd settle for one of the above. How about:

Donald Trump is the President of the United States.

    Your turn.

People always respect power. We need to say that at the start. However, I would challenge the notion that the nation itself is less respected under Trump, compared to Obama. Respect can mean different things. Under Obama, it was clear he was not going to do anything militarily, under any circumstance. Therefore, his threats of military action were given zero respect. Maybe leaders liked Obama more, on a personal level, but they knew he was a push over who would do anything they wanted. Every agreement he entered, read as if we were the loser in a post-war treaty.

It is simple. Obama was weak as a leader domestically and intenationally.

    Trump is not.

There is lot to be critical of Trump, to anyone being honest. However, he fundamentally understands what to do, and what the right course of action is, on a level that most politicians only dream of. The execution of that, is clearly not going well. However, it's amazing to me how many unspoken realities are vehemently denied by politicians. Some call it populism; I would call it non-bullshitism. It's "populist" to strive for the actual actions the public wants taken, instead of actions DC lobbyists want taken.

I have found the Asian countries I travel to have more respect for Trump than Obama. I went on a cruise and met a lot of Middle Easterners who were excited for Trump over Obama.

The Hatred for Trump seems pretty localized to hyper leftist around the world. CNN and a lot of the left wing media like reverberate this but after 6 months I don't think this can be answered.

Especially now that we seem to be finding more and more out about the "collusion" case and that it looks like it was made up to hinder Trump.

Seems like media hysteria to me, to answer your question
