As a liberal I don't mind if black culture has representation in the country but when the government in this case the Oregon Dental Association uses rap songs to influence young white kids to brush their teeth it begins to cross the line since that is not a ethical duty of government.

The Song below that the ODA uses is filled with references to materialism and other negative rap culture and has no place in teaching little kids that its good to brush their teeth.

Imo the government could use a better or more responsible way of influencing the middle class surburbia to do the right thing judge for yourself.....

I know, have the government mandate that children brush their teeth and if they don't they pay a "penalty". Then when judge Roberts gets around to hearing the case he will turn it into a tax. It seemingly is the only way for people to do the right thing.

Rap music is merging with mainstream culture and American artists like B.o.B and will.i.am are collaborating with female singers to add melody to their music and children are known to be very receptive to rap music.

I think the media is to blame, not really the government.

---I think individuals are to blame. Then again I see an obvious difference between human beings and ants.
