I thought this was a non-bias website for liberals and conservatives, but about 9 out of 10 threads are started by right wingers, 99% of comments are right wing, the closest thing to a liberal on this site, are the so-called "libertarians", who still pretend libertarians aren't a extremist right wing group.

I took a few minutes to look over the profiles of the mods admins and "advisors", and they are all right wingers? SO is this just a place for the right wing to pretend like they are the in the middle, like fox news?

Well to answer your question. It's not a right wing forum, it's just dominated by the right wing. Plenty of good posters still, just have to find them.

LOL, not sure if you've noticed, but it's a right-wing world out there right now. This forum reflects the real world. Conservatives who've had enough and won't take anymore and Liberals who're desperately holding on.

Just like the real world. ;)

So when Obama win reelection and the Republicans lose a bunch o' House seats, how real will your world be then?

Nah, they don't pretend to be in the middle. They like to be the right.

To answer your question, yes, this site is currently overrun by right-wingers. That's why there are so many petty "I hate Obama threads" and racially motivated "black crime" threads as well as the same 2 or 3 right-wing memes posing as "opinions" being posted at a rapid rate. In addition, the mod board has a huge majority of far-right wingers so I don't see it changing anytime soon.

The forum's quality has plummeted in the last year or so. It gets harder and harder to drum up the interest to logon frequently.

If the board was mostly or all liberal---wouldn't you liberals be bored?

Good question. Let's ask a con if they're bored because here, the cons have a majority.

I'm not---because I have plenty of liberals here to discuss the topics of the day. If this was truely a conservative board----I would be bored. If it was majority liberal---I'd have more threads that I could participate in.

I can't even relate to being on a political forum and wishing most people were like me. Or opining that ideological differences weren't exactly equal.

You mean with my third leg growing out of my forehead?

It's just as likely to happen as obama winning reelection.

It's not a question of how much there is to debate with, it's about the overall number of liberals and conservatives that's the problem here.

I'll fly over on my unicorn and meet you on this very thread so you can say, "I told you so."

    Deal?

Explain to me how it is a problem for you. Do you like to get on threads and agree with the OP? If that is important....then you might have a problem.

Personally....I like to get on threads of which I disagree. I avoid threads that duplicate my own thought processes. I'm a conservative. Yet I have plenty to disagree with here.

So I am not seeing a problem.

Never said it was. I'm making the point that it's what the OP wants to know.

Do you mean write on them, or look into them?

That's great for you, however I think the problem here isn't just you or one other poster. It's the majority of people we're looking at.

You are telling me that the majority of the posters are conservative. Please tell me what problems this cause.

I can't think of anything that deals with conservatism itself. It's more to do with the attitudes that go along with being the domintant idegoly here.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. Give me an example of a hypothetical specific problem a liberal would have to deal with here.

A standard tactic is for the right-wing swarm to descend upon a thread that they don't like and troll it to the point where a mod decides that it's easier to close it than clean it.

Then there's the endless torrent of pure rubbish.

Then there's the proliferation of pure racebaiting threads.

It's like trying to swim through a sea of sewage to reach the threads that actual hold substance.

It is not that simple anymore. More and more people, who once were left, now realize the government serves the rich, ergo wanting more government and less government serves the elite either way. For someone who hasn't come to that conclusion yet, I'm sure you're amazed at the rapid growth of anti "progress", or "right wing nutjobs". The majority of us are not anti-state, we are anti the entire system as it stands. Whether we lean "right" or "left". Zero representation is the fact at hand. If you're someone who actually believes the propaganda machine and supports the status quo, than I say congrats, for it means you are part of the 30% rising with the tide. The rest of us are being swallowed by it, with little hope of ever having our grievances addressed.

this is not a "majority" this is 99% of people here. Every thread is started by conservatives, if I wanted an all conservative forum, I'd post on stormfront. I came here for a non bias forum, if it was 51% conservative or 51% liberal, I wouldn't care, but it's not...... go look at all threads on the homepage they're all right wing biased threads.

Ok. I don't get on to the threads you call "race baiting". I ignore them. I don't see it as race-baiting but as a poster who is trying to educate our liberal friends...that we have a problem that should be dealt with.

And there are plenty of threads where liberals have swarmed, insulted, mocked the unlucky conservatives who ventured in. The Gay and Lesbian and Religion forum have excellent examples of that.

    I think...liberals are more thin-skinned.

Regardless---the only liberal solution would be to have quotas---allow only enough ideology of each stripe to make things equal. Or a liberal can go to forum after forum until they find that equal utopia.
