Israeli plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza

The Irgun were not representative of the Palestinian Jews living in the British Mandate region. They were a militant underground organization opposed to the defense and restraint policies of the Haganah which started out as a loose organization of local defense militias but morphed into more of a "national" military organization. During 1936-1939, the years of the Arab Revolt were the years in which the Haganah matured and developed from a militia into a military body which were allies of the British. Although the British administration did not officially recognize the organization, the British Security Forces cooperated with it by establishing a civilian militia.

Israel speaks out against the charge of genocide. To accuse Israel of genocide for defending itself when attacked in the most cruel and inhuman way is ridiculous. With this as a precedent any nation who defends itself from attack can be charged with genocide including the United States actions in WWII.

No. The Palestinians rejected peace in 1948 in order to try to attain their goal via war. They have continued to reject peace and choose war ever since. Their problem is that they're not very good at it -- think of the burglars in Home Alone. They are now paying the price for 76 years of military incompetence and political foolishness.

 

Would you be upset if your land was stolen and then sold to foreigners, and then you became a second-class citizen? I know here in America, we would fight to our dying breath to kick out the invaders.

 

No land was stolen. The UN partitioned the territory to create two states where there had been none. The Israelis accepted the partition; the Palestinians chose war instead.

 

So you’re saying there’s no distinction between Palestinians and Hamas. Glad one of you finally admitted it.

 

that’s like saying there are no differences between US soldiers and civilians. Do you not understand the difference between civilians and military personnel?

The ICJ rules that Israel has a right to defend itself and that Israel's goal of eradication of Hamas is correct. It also demands that all the hostages held by Hamas be released in a safe manner.

Complicity in genocide and planning ethnic cleansing make Israel's claims of self-defense as credible as " a land without a people for a people without a land."

 

They are correct. The only way that Gazan civilians can enjoy safety, security, and economic prosperity again is for Israel to eradicate Hamas from Gaza and for Israel to control Gaza again.

 

Gaza, operates like a pirate ship under the command of Hamas. The pirate leaders sacrifice civilians to keep the loot rolling in.

Jews resorted to terrorism to drive the British from Palestine in order to precipitate ethnic cleansing in 1948. It's hardly surprising they are committing ethnic cleansing (again) as well as conspiracy to commit genocide in Gaza today.

Why not eliminate the source of the violence?
Israel is a racist, Jewish-supremacist state born of settler-colonialism and ethnic cleansing. There are roughly equal numbers of Jews and non-Jews living between the River and the sea; it's time to bring representative democracy to all of Palestine by ending the Zionist occupation of Palestine.

The source of violence is Hamas.

 

I don't support Hamas or the IDF. I support sparing Palestinian and Israeli civilian lives at ANY cost, even if that includes not a single member of Hamas is brought to justice. It doesn't matter in the least. ALL that matters is compassion and humanity. Israel can defend themselves without massacring civilians.

 

If you are serious about saving lives you would be 100% behind Israel’s goal to eradicate Hamas from Gaza.

 

Hamas doesn’t spare civilians. Protecting them with your compassion is only guaranteeing future civilian death and from that more violence and war.

Your compassion is the problem. Stop guaranteeing future war.

 

Oh yeah, because killing 25,000 civilians is "saving lives". You only care about Israeli lives.
