I can't remember seeing such a pathetic performance from a QB. Now he gets to go up against the #1 defense in the NFL.
last year (or was it the year before) we had the 7-9 seahawks. This year we get the 8-8 Broncos. Some of Tebow's passes should have been caught. it's not all on him just like the victories were not all him So, they get to sell AFC West champion t-shirts and don't go any further On another note, I am glad that the blowhard's team didn't make the playoffs. Big bold prediction that his jets would be in the Superbowl.
I have to point out that the 7-9 Seahawks BEAT the mighty Saints in the playoffs! Denver won't be that lucky...I predict a first-round exit for them, and probnably an ugly one.
Backu QB I agree. If Raiders can trade Campbell for a good draft pick they would be better off. Campbell is selfish as he protects his stats by taking the sack. He also has no ability to scan the field quickly and holds on to the ball too long. Also, he will only throw to a select few receivers who he trusts. Which all makes him a huge target for defence coordinators. Some look at Campbell's stats and think he is a decent QB, fact is most of his yards were from after the catch, by a select few good receivers. Also, he was a sack target and most of his games, the special teams and defence outsocred the offence. In other words, the team he goes to better have a high scoring defense and special teams. Becaues with him as QB, you can expect one TD if they play a bad team. Same can be said for Teblow.
At the end of the day the NFL is about money, I am now predicting Broncos vs Packers in the Superbowl, the fix is in...
If that is the case then the broncos had better get redy for the worst butt kicking that they have ever had.
Pretty much. Pittsburgh has the best defense in the league. They can make a good QB look bad, so it might be a real long day for Tebow.
But, but, but...The guy can't pass?! I realize the Tebow haters ain't goin' away, but it will be interesting to see if any of 'em will stand up, show some class, and give Tebow some props for playing a terrific game. He really only had one bad pass & that was the Broncos last possession, when the receiver was quite open for a 1st down, if the pass wasn't so bad.
luck or should I say lack of good officiating almost gave the Steelers the win. The incomplete pass that wasn't a forward pass but a fumble, or maybe the missed face mask calls. While I try to understand its a game and that not everything is seen, I do not like when a referee can change the game at will. It was obviously not a forward pass, at that point in the game, it might have sealed the game, but the Steeler' went on to challenge for the win. Tebow is not a normal NFL quarterback, but he has brought something to Denver that no one previously has brought since Elway, true leadership on and off the field!
I caught the face mask while standing 25 feet away watching a small tv with my glasses off. That was just bizzare.
Broncos had momentum at the time and to rule an incomplete pass which was a backward lateral and fumble recovery by the Broncos makes you really suspect the officials. Worst case, the ball should have been broncos ball at point of fumble/recovery Also, a guys head does not jerk that way naturally
