Is it because they are Jews or Jewish? Or is it their ideas of biology, medical training or ideology? The implication being made here is that their religious beliefs are their reason for their reason to push children into sex changes. I claim that your premise is false.

I think all these issues can be answered with asking if it is legal. If it is legal, we do as we like.

As far as the kids? They better be happy with their decision later in life. If not, don't complain, just kill yourself.

 

Reform Judaism may not accurately reflect the wide panoply of Jewish belief, but I suspect you know that. I suspect you also know that quoting any specific Rabbi tells us absolutely nothing about Jewish ideas on the mass murder of children, but it does tell us something about you that you quoted him as representative. I smell agenda and I don't like the aroma.

 

That didn't answer the question. And no, neither the Jewish religion as a whole nor the Torah in which the observant Jews follow sanction such sick and twisted beliefs.

 

They're transgender, so of course they'll ok their own practices. Same with pedophiles and murderers. What you should do is get a consensus from non transgender rabbis.

 

Maybe I am wrong and you are not as smart as I thought. Reform Judaism counts as reform Judaism., but nothing broader. Do you know the difference between a subset and a set? All apples are fruits. That does not mean that you get to use apple as a synonym for fruit because all fruit is not apples.
I will not be reading 11 pages of posts to find those references to Rabbis who advocate the genocide of women and children. I read the whole articlein the link. I got the picture. This guy is a fundamentalist who was trying to sell a bluff so as to avoid war, and he used language in the Torah that justifies the use of lethal violence in self defense, regardless of the gender or age of the aggressor. He thinks if you sound scary and vicious as a government, your enemies will not engage. He represents nobody and got himself in a lot of hot water among Rabbis.

It was not remotely accurate to claim that a position held by the most liberal reformers in Judaism on trangenderism is definitive of Judaism. I think you knew that before you tried to slide that in and suggests agenda to me.
