Odd that they have been off the entire time Obama has been in office... Probably a coincidence...

You must be an uber-economist then, predicting things will just get better and better under Obama.

Sorry if I choose not to follow your ideological nonsense.

Granted. Though it was because almost 600,000 rejoined the labor force. Conservatives would call that positive news.

-10.0% to -7.9% is +2.1 that is called positive news.

You must be an uber-strawman then, attributing things to me I never claimed.

Sorry if I choose not to follow your disingenuous debating.

You have again and again, stated things are getting better and will continue to do so if Obama is re-elected.

    Do you not believe that?

What does that have to do with their prediction in 2008?

Jobs created in 2011 for Sept were 202K and Oct were 112K or a total of 314K jobs created.

Jobs created in 2012 for Sept were 148K and Oct were 171K(P) or a total of 319K jobs created.

So while it is true that more jobs were created in these two months than last year at the same time, this increase was a whopping 5,000 jobs. So yes we are on our way but this is not much to talk about??

Lastly, a question which you never answer, is what did the federal government do to create these 5,000 jobs? What actions were taken by government to actually create jobs in the private sector?

    (P) preliminary

THIS was America's biggest issue and it was one ginormous FAIL. They failed in assessing both the problem and its solution. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. 7.9% unemployment and rising and that low only because so many have given up. Lowest labor participation rate in decades. GDP lower than last year and last year lower than the year before and no increase predicted.

That's called failure, it is what you and the left have invested in.

    Labor Force Participation Rate

    Jan 2009 ~ 65.7%
    Oct 2012 ~ 63.8%

1.9% fewer people working =/= "More jobs under Obama"

Your claims are fabricated and false. The number of discouraged workers have fallen by hundreds of thousands in the last couple months. the LFPR as rised for two months in a row. GDP is increasing.

That's called lying, it is what you and the right have invested in.

Job losses bottomed out the month they presented their report, we knew how bad it was and Obama admitted they didn't underestimate the situation so stop with the lame excuses for this failed President.

When Kroft asks Obama if he over-promised during the 2008 campaign, the president replies:

"I didn't over-promise. And I didn't underestimate how tough this was going to be. I always believed that this was a long-term project."

I'm sure you'd prefer to see higher unemployment and more people without jobs.

People invested in failure for political purposes would.

spread out the same amount of labor over more people, and nothing changes. Just more people doing less work,

    worn, lame.

The Obama administration said that unemployment would be 5.4% at the end of the third quarter in 2012.
Well, we all know now what a joke that was.
You just have to fire someone that misses the mark that bad.

I never claimed Obama said anything.

Bluesguy made the claim. I challenged it. Bluesguy can prove his own claim. Or more accuarately, he can't.

Such a conclusion to make after a mere 38 posts. One would think that you've spent a lot more time here before under a different name. Did you?
