Joe Biden Revokes Donald Trump Orders for Garden of Heroes, Protection of Monuments

President Joe Biden revoked an executive order Friday to create a National Garden of American Heroes, initially planned by former President Donald Trump.

Biden also revoked Trump’s order to prevent online censorship, and his order to protect American monuments.


Biden could have modified Trump’s initial order but instead revoked it entirely.

This is proof that Biden hates America. That he would cancel a garden tribute to great Americans with great accomplishments is sheer pettiness. That he would remove penalties for damage to or destruction of existing monuments is an open invitation to BLM and Antifa to to resume last summers open season on them. He’s one vindictive bitter hate filled SOB.

 

That Biden is also pro censorship is no surprise either. It’s sad we have a man who hates his country and it’s people so much as our President.

 

Ya this one makes no sense. It really shows the power the radical progressives have over this President because no moderate would have a problem with prosecuting vandals that destroy historical landmarks. The only people who ever had a problem with this were the ones doing the destroying. I wonder if Pres Biden even knew what he was signing or if he just makes his mark on whatever piece of paper is put in front of him.

 

I agree with undoing the bad that Trump did, but only when there was actual bad to undo. I don't see that here. Spite is not a healthy way to behave politically. That's one of the many reasons Donald Trump was so toxic.

 

I do hope that Breitbart is correct about the stupid ****ing Garden of Heroes. What makes Kobe Bryant a hero? Or Walt Disney? or Johnny Cash? Or draft dodging Mhammad Ali?

The whole idea was so childish. It is like Trump just made a list of people he liked and put them down without knowing anything about them.

 

What makes Kobe Bryant or Muhammad Ali heroes?(Well, Kobe, I can understand if that'll be a bit divisive because of the Colorado saga) but Ali's stand for peace makes him an exemplary American and you'd think that the in-crowd would love such resistance to warfare.

 

Well, I have never been accused of being in any "in crowd" and as a guy that spent 20 years in the Marines, I am not a fan of draft dodgers.

 

Biden needs no excuse to be slammed. Biden is a ****ing unmitigated disaster.

 

Would you rather the draft be reinstated? Should young men and young women go to war on behalf of congresspersons?

 

I would be ok with an Israel style compulsory service, though it would not have to be the military only.

We are a country of freeloaders that rely on a very small percent to keep them in the lifestyle they are accustomed to.

 

Apparently according to statistics, it's hard to find active recruits as it is. Having been a former soldier yourself, I'm sure you've seen this truth on the ground(in fact, you bemoan it in the post.). So how do you think a compulsory service would go? I think it would be difficult to train the masses of untrained persons to be able to sufficiently become a fighting army for the United States but meh that's just me.

 

The "censorship" you are complaining about is protected by private property rights and the First Amendment. Trump's supposed love for our country was all for show, and frequently represented a disregard for the Constitution and individual rights. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

 

I was a Marine, not a soldier. I know it seems like nitpicking, but it really is not.

Recruiting can be hard. I did 4 years on recruiting duty during the height of the Iraq War. In a few short months we went from setting records to missing mission for the first time in more than 100 months. The somewhat odd thing, infantry was the one MOS we never had trouble filling, even when they were dying a lot in Iraq. Those that want to join normally do so because they want to fight.

Compulsory service could fill in the non-combat jobs. I am not saying we should have it or even thought about how it would play out....just said I am not opposed to it. I think far too many people in our country have no skin in the game at all. It is a result of our success

Every other thread started for four years was meant to bash trump and in no way tried 'to establish a foundation for respectful discussion and debate'.

Every other thread was just an excuse to slam on trump. And in not a single one of those did you have any problem whatsoever with "Rule 11".

The hypocrisy is overwhelming here.

 

Not only that, if the money spent on the gardens at the WH is any indication, I don't think now is the time.

VP who's in charge of a south border crisis, still busy with her apartment remodeling, and hasn't been to the border yet.

All in just first 100 days of being erected to the White House.
