i'm just looking ahead to the kerry advise and consent confirmation hearings. there has been a recent, seemingly preemptive flurry of anti birtherism, and i can't figure out why the very people who have been the brther bashers are becoming more visible at this time and not less. for years, now (i really wasn't involved until the release of the second birth certificate, in fact i too thought the whole thing was rather silly until 4/27). i haven't been in contact with dr. corsi recently, but i'm sure he knows he will be asked to comment on the senator kerry. the swiftboat page at wikepedia didn't mention the aythor or "unfit for command". like benghazi, i think the nomination will have us revisiting kerry in viet nam, and the obama provenance. unless kerry is pulled like susan rice, again, it shows the bravado of axelrod, clinton, gibbs, plouf, cutter. and the other chicago authorities. at this time i find it hard to believe that the obama consortium is planning to "go there". as the birther narrative is revived, the stories of benghazi and obama's provenance are constantly dynamic and ever changing. just today (and i don't know this to be fact), i found that obama ostensibly introduced himself as the son of married parents, his father being a goatherder from kenya. just before the election he said he was born to a single parent. there are hundreds of things that strike me odd about his backstory, even who wrote his biography is not convincing to me. i think i will begin to compile a list of the anomalies that bother me personally about the "authenticity" of the current residents of our whitehouse. i don't know what mr. obama is hiding, but i do know that he has never been transparent, going all the way back to his childhood. i hope i'm wrong and that his is pure and his intentions are good. there are a lot of questions surrounding the executive brach right now. the tactics i have witnessed over the past five years to not inspire great trust or confidence in my mind. as a musician, i can tell the difference between someone who looks great on stage, and someone who can really play.
From what I hear, Kerry is very, very popular among Senators- both Republican and Democratic. I will lay odds right now that, while the wingnut faction of Corsi and WND will try to malign Kerry, that his nomination will sail through the Senate.
i was just reviewing how bork (died today) was received, and when ted kennedy during the alito confirmation telling the hearing that he had done some things in the past that he wasn't especially proud of. i think kerry will pass advise and consent if he doesn't withdraw or get the flu with a concussion. i'm not sure if he fits the chicago hierarchy. the hearings will be interesting for sure. harry reid will get to say something got passed in the senate, kerry will mostly be out of the country, everybody's a winner. i'd rather herman munster be s o s than sec of defense, that's for sure.
i'm not sure i ever thought romney could beat obama. the republicans need to pull it together if they're ever going to be viable again. i think they need an obamalike actor. i'm not really convinced it matters, it seems as if the government model/paradigm has peaked out, run it's course of usefulness. what we are left with is inertia/gridlock, which is actually good. it's probably just a question of time before political division descends into madness, either way, it's been a good run of democracy.
