It would have been a totally different "reality" if a massive group of DEMS did what Trump supporters did. Can't you just hear the outrage and uproar?? Attacking the Capitol!!! tha tis like breaking the "eleventh commandment." To Trumpsters , it was akin to an Easter pik nik. Violating the Capitol is as good as their "right"

 

Time to brush up on your history. They did violently riot in DC for Trump's inauguration in 2017 attacking law enforcement and our federal institutions...

Then they rioted again throughout 2020 attacking our federal institutions and law enforcement in DC and throughout America leaving a wake of dead Americans and law enforcement as well as newly occupied terorrities.

If you want to measure the damage done based on casualties and property damage it's no contest. Left wing riots were far worse. Not only were they far worse, Democrats were bailing them out of jail in several cities that were actually arresting them so they could continue attacking our law enforcement and federal institutions. And many Democrat officials just let them do it without repercussions.

 

Your truth is a jury SELECTED by leftist judges in a very leftist environment in DC. that's why they are trying to move everything there instead of the California district it's in now.

 

Do I need to remind you of the very real distinction that the Jan 6 riot was an attempt to begin to overthrow an election result, corruptly and with force, i.e., an insurrection.

The DOJ disagrees with you that the Capitol riot was an unarmed insurrection. Nobody has been accused of that.

 

No , Pence was not lynched.......but the message created by the lynch apparatus was bad enough. That violence against the Capitol was surreal as if stepping back in time to an era where that kind of barbarism was common. As was behaving this way on behalf of Trump .

No one has been charged with insurrection. i.e. the DOJ doesn't believe there was an insurrection.
