    Most parents i know already use a kids safe net filter and dont let kids watch r rated movies..

    While the approach of using derogatory racist language towards Aborigines works, doesn't it? So besides vilifying Aborigines, what else are you doing that you think is working?

    for a start he has asked the pm to visit some of the remote community with his so they can formulate a bipartisan plan BUT she will not do it...

    Well...when yall have an underlying bit of racial tension to begin with and you add a few few "pints" in the mix there is a good possibilty that violence will be the outcome.

    And if the police are mostly white and are friendly with the white patrons who is going to be arrested?

    The NT Intervention didn't work. Isn't working. Now Tony wants a "new" intervention to be far more interventionist than the existing one?

    Appalling. Racist.

    If the intervention isn't working... it's NOT cause to tighten the screws to make it even more hostile and to bring in more police.

    The Intervention must be removed. Or if not removed, then any white people that drink too much or hurt their wives and kids should have an intervention slapped over them, too.

    I am ashamed - ashamed - that Howard brought in this racist intervention, and ashamed that the Labor party didn't / doesn't have the balls to remove it.

    Personally i wouldnt give two hoots if two abo blokes want to punch the crap outta each other, the problem is that many of em get a skin full of booze then go and beat their families rape kids and all sorts of bad stuff.

    You live with them? YOU live under an intervention? And you know that it's working?

    Where do you live? How do you find the restrictions of the intervention on your life? Must be difficult for you.

    YOU know it's working. Where do you live? How long have you lived under intervention. You live in it to know it's working. O, you must be Aboriginal, too. To know it's working, I mean.

    Tell us about life under the intervention. To know it's working, you clearly must be living under one. You never told us you were Aboriginal. Why not?

    Then it is not a racial problem it is a substance abuse problem.

    Because the same thing happens with drunks of all races.
