Can we be honest here and admit that the Trump administration is literally killing any and all evidence of what happened in 2016 ? They dropped charges against these russian firms, just like they dropped the charges against Flynn. They are literally re-"investigating" themselves and then dropping everything and their supporters are cheering this. It's been stunning to watch. We literally have the fox guarding the henhouse.

Im sure if this was the Obama administration those on the right would be supporting this in the same manner

So you didn't read your own cite. They don't have a case and can bring no one in to prosecute. They can't even force the documents they would need. This was explained when Mueller first desperately issued the indictments, that he would never be able to enforce nor force the defendants to even show up for trial. The "falling apart" is due to a politicized DOJ that refuses to pursue the facts and claims that that they can't, for example, figure out how to build a case against a guy who has repeatedly pleaded guilty. There's been an unlimited special counsel investigation of Trump for two year's duration and a Christmas impeachment with a trial in the new year. Investigations and the trial are over. There was nothing there.

 

Of course it's a massive international cover-up (beating Nixon's domestic cover-up), but OTOH, those Russia cases were likely going nowhere anyway.
