You know this is crazy when this is the subject of an ESPN talking heads debate. Evidently, this is "sports news"? It's like that movie "Wargames" when the seminal observation is made. The only winning move is not to start.

He's probably a scumbag, but that is not shown by the posted quote.

Help me out here. I'm just making wild guesses.

Is he being considered so vile, and worthy of death threats, because he made a statement ridiculing one of the left's absurd, yet sacred issues?

accusing the African-American slaves of choosing their fate, is absurd, ignorant and highly offensive.

He didn't say that about actual slavery.

I can't know if you actually believe the propaganda about what he said, or not.

The conversation shed light on West’s 2016 breakdown and an opioid dependency, but most perplexingly, it also led to a questionable comment by West about slavery. At one point, West told TMZ, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice.”

Like I had one RW gun supporter tell me, ALL libs think NRA members are murderers? That kind of lying tactic?
Both sides have their extreme nut cases.

It's sad and depressing to see people being manipulated by Fake News generated hate.

This issue shows why hate is one of the left's favorite weapons. Once hate is established in their victims, the victim can no longer think clearly about an issue..

Have you been to Africa recently? Do you suppose that those who endure within ISIS perhaps may also have a different perspective? Which, frankly, is why slavery still exists, and why liberals always turn a blind eye to it. The reality and facts of actual slavery distract from the distant historic memory of it that they've been using as an excuse for so long.

I was told for eight years that my disdain for President Obama was due to my racism rather than my substantive policy differences. Likewise for Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Black Lives Matter, etc.. So if I can’t have a substantive policy difference with these guys, you cannot have one with Kanye... without being called a racist, of course.

Yeah, that's what he said. 400 years, and without white guys fighting the civil war, they'd still be enslaved to this day.

That's a choice, just as it is a choice to fight and die for a noble reason. They made their choice every time they weren't willing to die for their freedom. Each and every one of them. Maybe it's a binary choice between slavery or death, but then, men have always been willing to die for much less than their freedom.

    So why didn't blacks?
