Keith Ellison domestic violence accuser says Democratic party doesn't believe her

The woman who accused Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse said on Monday that Democrats don’t believe her story and threatened to isolate her over the allegations.

Karen Monahan, a former girlfriend, came forward last month alleging that Ellison sent her threatening text messages and once screamed obscenities at her as he dragged her off a bed by her feet.

Ellison has denied the accusations, saying he “never behaved this way.” He did acknowledge he was in a relationship with the woman.

The allegations didn’t lead to any immediate action against the congressman, except for the announcement that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) would review the accusations. He went on to win the Democratic primary election for Minnesota attorney general.

 

Monahan slammed the Democratic Party for its response to her allegations when compared to its treatment of Christine Blasey Ford. Ford has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of attempting to force himself onto her during at a high school party nearly four decades ago, prompting prominent Democrats to get behind Ford’s allegations.

"Ms. Monahan’s supporters point out that Mr. Ellison faced a similar accusation in 2006, when another young environmental activist alleged that she had an affair with Mr. Ellison while he was married. That woman, Amy Alexander, said he came to her house, shoved her and broke a screen door as he left. Mr. Ellison has denied having a romantic relationship with Ms. Alexander, and won a restraining order against her in court. A judge warned her not to repeat her claims. Attempts to contact Ms. Alexander were not successful."

So the demorat party wants to impeach Kavanugh over unsubstantiated allegations but refuses to
investigate a member of the demorat party (Ellision) when there is evidence probably implicating Ellison.

Since Ellison is 55 years old, he would have been 41 in 2005."

No they treat them horrible which I thought was my point. Democrats love Muslims way more than women. With democrats, they have a certain pecking order although it usually depends on whatever is happening in the news at the moment that can fire up their base. Anti-christian Muslims are highest on their love list hence the reason they loved Obama who is a Muslim who in turn loved and chose Louis Farrakhan, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, Keith Ellison, and others... all of which are either admittedly Muslim or closeted with strong ties. After that comes ethnicity, gender, and all the "phobes" = homophobe, transgenderphobe, etc.

So since Keith Ellison is a Muslim and regards women as 2nd class citizens, it's a no brainer he's done this to a woman and his cronies in the Obama admin would be taking his side because he fits the dems narrative the most.

No republicans tried to take a bullet for Kav. Do you have evidence that someone tried to take the blame? Ford was allowed to make her case and there was no attempt to silence or isolate her. 29% from both parties said they didn't have enough information to believe either one. That means that more than 2/3 let their party do their thinking for them.

In this case, the "we have to believe her" crowd is silent.
