I had to watch the video for myself because I was certain she was being taken out of context. The Three Stooges didn't even call her out on it.

I'm not sure if I'm more sad or angry. This kind of stuff has to stop. Why is this woman still allowed to speak on behalf of the Whitehouse?

100%. This administration is full of ignorance and stupidity from top to bottom. Its the only aspect of its character that is consistent throughout the 3.5 years.

 

So, while making the point that this isn't the first corona virus that has caused problems ( https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/types.html ), and thus is unlikely to be the last, her lack of understanding that the 19 designates the year is meaningful why?

I didn't know that either. I didn't bother to look because its official designation doesnt mean anything to me. I've been calling it Cvirus for weeks and no one has yet yo question what I'm talking about.

My point is- why is it so horrible that she didn't know that the 19 was for the year this particular corona virus became a common disease? She clearly does know that there are other corona viruses that have caused disease in the past, and there will be more in the future.

Is it really such a big deal she thought maybe this was the 19th deadly corona virus as opposed to something between the 4th or 5th if your talking about ones that became notorious and the 10000th or more if your talking about how many different corona viruses there actually are?

I really hope this isn't just a 'OMG she's not following the WHO on twitter!' thing...

All politicians and their spokespeople misspeak sometimes. When someone on the right misspeaks, the left comes out laughing. When someone on the left misspeaks, the right comes out laughing.

This isn't that. A misspeak is an honest mistake.

This is a woman who is trying to discredit the WHO by saying they've had 18 chances to figure this out, but they are so incompetent, they can't do it. And then she throws in a sarcastic zinger: "People should know the facts," she added.

If you are going to bash an organization like that, AND you speak for the White house, you should have some facts before claiming to be an authority.

The funniest part is not one of the three stooges corrected her. This is the most uninformed bunch of talking heads on television. They bring on the dumbest guests. She really is stupid.

 

One would like to think that spokespeople for Trump and the WH are well informed. It isn't horrible that she didn't know, but it is pathetic that she speaks for the WH, but didn't know.

 

Because the firm she built was one of the best internal polling companies in the country. She sold it when she accepted a job as an adviser for Trump. She helped get Trump get elected. Clinton was touted for her superior ground game and her blue wall in all the ravings form the left that she was going to win. Trump's team help him beat Clinton against more than 90% odds that Clinton was going to win. Almost everyone that is anyone said the Trump would never be president. Obama said Trump would not be president. CNN said Trump would never win. NBC and all of their affiliates said that Trump would never win. The NYT said Trump was going to lose. All of those people that the left claims are really really smart people said Clinton was going to win by a "landslide". Kellyanne was on Maher's show and he asked the panel who was going to win the election. She said "Trump" and the whole panel laughed at her. Such people as George Clooney, Barrack Obama, Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, Tom Hanks, Seth Meyers, Elizabeth Warren, Stephanapolus, Harry Reid, Mark Cuban, all of the squawking idiots on The View, Democrat Strategist Bob Beckle just to name a few. How can someone so dumb be so right compared to so many smart people? That's part of the reason the left lost the last election. The hubris runs real deep in the Democratic party. They continue to underestimate and insult everyone that dares to stand against them.
