Lady Gaga sang the National Anthem at SuperBowl 50 and I was ecstatic with her rendition. In my opinion, she sang it best than any other performer in any of the past SuperBowl games. When a singer can move someone to tears, joy, and pride with her voice, this is the mark of showmanship. I am not alone with my opinion. I was listening to FOX Sports Daybreak this morning and Lady Gaga was being raved by the two hosts on the Sports talk show. What is your opinion of Lady Gaga's singing of the National Anthem?
She's a true talent, no doubt. She usually goes for the bizarre, which only seems to attract people to her, but she's so talented it's almost like she doesn't need any of that. She's an artist, where many people are just entertainers.
I was surprised that my wife was correct about something because when I heard that GAGA was singing I was about to gag and my wife said that The Gaga has changed her image and/or has grown up. I was surprised and was reluctantly admitting that the wife was correct about The GAGA. ps wife's team lost - na na na na na !!!
I was really skeptical. I usually take umbrage when singer's take too much artistic license with the anthem. I was pleasantly surprised. She nailed it.
