If I'm reading this right it says China may have 640,000 cases in 230 cities? I've thought all along the Chinese numbers were bunk.

China lies about what time it is. Seriously, the Chinese government doesn't want its citizens to understand or recognize time zones. They want all citizens on "Beijing time" regardless of how far away from the capitol they are. So of course they would lie about a virus they helped spread.

somehow a 3rd rate news got a leak data, but no cia/nsa and any other news got the info, i find it hard to belief, too many fake news these days. We may never know China numbers, but i dont trust those news just magically got something from super tight security such as China when even US intel can't even get through.

Actually, President Trump and Pompeo have stated multiple times they have information about the truths & lies about the Chinese virus and the concealment of their numbers.

 

China has few covid deaths, but their suicide rate spiked!

 

Trump and Pompeo is same, they were caught lying multiple time, for example trump call it flu, said it will be gone by april, inject bleach to body, many contradiction between him and health official etc. only a fool belief him.

you telling me a reporter were able to find "hard evidence" of wuhan lab when multi-billions organization back by US such as CIA,NSA, couldn't find any? and dont forget about all the health expert opinion on this too.

A few things to unpack here.

First, he did incorrectly call it a flu virus to which it's a coronavirus which is less lethal as Influenza A or B. I'll give you that.

Second, Trump was trying to be optimistic by telling people that this isn't as bad to which science is now saying that this virus mortality is WAY lower than influenza and our reaction has been WAY over zealous.

Third, he NEVER stated about injecting bleach into the body but once again, he was referring to light therapy to disinfect the body. Context is everything and the lunatic left always tends to let their TDS get the better of them and leaves out context.

Forth, the contradiction was among health officials. It was their numbers Trump was regurgitating and they changed like a summer wind.

Lastly, there is now a call from 120 other nations for an investigation of the Wuhan virus as there is ample evidence that this virus DID come from their lab. Trump and Pompeo have been steadfast with stating this.

Even the CNN (fake news network) article you linked contradicts it's own headlines. Snippet in second paragraph - "we know it began in Wuhan, but we don't know from where or from whom, and those are important things."

No, you are not reading it right. The article says there were 640,000 updates to the database, apparently updates of the totally numbers from different areas. For example, if one area had zero cases throughout but sent an update every day for three months, that might be at least 90 updates. With no way of knowing how the database was managed though, that count of updates could mean literally anything.

 

Our intelligence agencies aren't in the media business. Why would they publish data.?

 

Once again, Trump has taken the word of another world leader. First Putin, now Xi. When will he learn to put his personal relationships aside when communicating with the public about world issues?

Sorry I overestimated your comprehension, China bot. The link talks about good reasons to doubt China's official numbers, and includes a link to a BBC article saying the actual numbers could easily be three times the reported ones, and also this:

"Some in the US government have gone further, according to recent reports from Bloomberg.

It said an official intelligence report to the White House concluded that China's reporting was "intentionally incomplete" and the numbers were "fake".

 

So if the COVID infections are now much worse than China has let on, it sounds like the USA better keep clamping down the COVID disease.

It must be a trick by China to allow Americans to die!

The online version matches with the leaked information, except it is far less detailed—it shows just the map of cases, not the distinct data.
