I own land that has trees that can be harvested.
I've been told that now is not the time to cut the trees, prices are low. It's not the raw materials that's the issue. It's finished goods that can't be made at the moment.

Lumber has skyrocketed. But the prices for trees has gone down.

What does marxism in the USA, which doesn't exist, have to do with USA imports and exports?

That's his point. We aren't short on raw lumber, we are short on finished lumber.

What should be clearly understood is the Democrats have one and only one goal, and that is a Democrat controlled central totalitarian government that decides and controls how the citizenry acts. Any individual policy that supports that they are all in favor, no matter the specifics and results, good or bad, of that policy. If it doesn't support their singular goal they don't much care one way or the other. This, of course, is not how they talk, but it is how they do.
