You know the Daily Mail has a ideological history of knocking our wonderful NHS and attacking the weakest in society don't you?

Whilst you digest your medication, I suggest you file 'Limey' alongside your other racist epithets - '*******', 'paki' and 'pally' being almost certainly amongst them.

    Have a nice day now.

Understanding repeated propaganda has never been an American strong point.

An ad hominem attack against a source that is not pro-government?

As for pejoratives, I am obliged to take them so I am empowered to dish them out.

The Daily Heil regularly makes up stories out of whole cloth. They're the print equivalent of Faux news. They famously printed the "wrong" version reporting the Knox and Kercher family reactions in fine detail as "Foxy Knoxy" lost her appeal against the murder conviction. (she didn't)

The NHS is the 5th largest employer in the world. Only the DoD, PLA, McDonald's and Walmart employ more people. I'm not surprised they are looking to cut costs because given the small size of the population and economy compared to the other governments who have agencys on the top 10 list it would have to take up a very significant portion of the UK budget.

If this is true, it is appalling. Trying to get women to endure more pain just to save a little money. A similar thing goes on in Canada with their national healthcare, so I guess it is fairly believable.

    Taxcutter says:
If they make up stories out of whole cloth that would make them more like MSNBC or CBS News. Remember Dan Rather's story about GW Bush's TANG service based on documents Ratherknew were falsified?

One more time..... sigh..... Faux is pronounced 'foe'. The whole 'faux news' thing is only clever to those who are completely ignorant of French pronunciation.

Since this story is confirmed by several sources, perhaps, instead of shooting the messenger, you may want to save some energy to fix the problem.

They can't. They signed over their right to take charge of their own lives - specifically the healthcare for that life - away. They chose to hand over all responsibility for their own health to their government years ago. They willingly gave up the right to control their own health over to the collective, and now they are reaping their just reward.
