This is why religious groups are so determined to get into schools. Far easier to brainwash a child than an adult

The whole Adam and Eve BS was so eloquently summed up by the late great Dave Allen

    Yes, great point.
Yes, YOUNG KIDS will believe a talking donkey, a man living inside a fish for 3 days, dragons, "angels", etc., because they believe that Harry Potter is real. They target us when we are at our dumbest, not when we are at our smartest.

No, they don't. You can't point to a single instance of the US fighting a holy war, because it doesn't exist. In the past we've fought for humanity or self defense. Today we fight for wealth and power. The closest thing to God in any of that is defending the defenseless. Don't tell me you've got a problem with that.

....God does not "defend the defenseless" - he's an animal - that psycho not only slaughtered all "DEFENSELESS" HUMAN BABIES during his barbaric "flood", but also slaughtered virtually all "DEFENSELESS" ANIMALS. Their god is clearly a barbarian, and they ought to be ashamed that that psycho is the best role model of all time for them - and their moral guide.

Can you condemn their invisible friend in the sky for slaughtering almost all the (obviously innocent) animals, such as kittens, puppies, baby seals? I can, how about you. I can condemn barbarity when I see it because I love humanity more than Christians do.

We bomb from 10,000', and now our leader is ramping that up - yet we are too afraid to take on the underlying cause of the Jihad - FAITH itself. Intellectual cowards.

GW Bush felt he was compelled by his invisible friend in the sky to mess with Iraq.
Let me ask you this: if Bush had felt that his invisible friend in the sky did NOT want him to invade, would he have invaded? No! Clearly, believing in some unique invisible friend in the sky is dangerous. Whether it's a Jihad or Crusade, religion is very dangerous to the planet and our species. Moses hearing voices in his head and slaughtering 3000 people (more than Osama did on 9/11!), in Exodus, is further proof that hearing voices in one's head ("god") is very dangerous. Moses also had the men rape the virgins and kill the non-virgin women, and even kill all the livestock. But I'm sure Christians have low enough levels of morality to defend, yes defend, Moses....I've seen it many many times.

    Have a great week.

People make God in their image, not the other way around.

How do you take on faith itself, by insulting them like you do Christians?

Jesus lost years ago when people realised what an absurd con religions are. All of them.

Yes, Bush did cite God, but that doesn't make it a holy war. Religion was not the reason for invasion.

So we agree that virtually all religious people are delusional, and need our help to overcome their delusion?

He needs further defeating.....for example, how many non-religious US Presidents have we had in the last 50 years? None. Clearly we have more work to do.

This is why I view home-schooling by 'Christians' to be child abuse; forcing a child, who does not yet have the intellectual capacity to make informed decisions, to adhere to his parent's demented belief system.

Or forcing a 9 year-old little girl to have sex with a 54 year-old self-described "prophet of god".

    Good post, snake.

What is the most "demented" thing about Jesus'/Moses' belief system, in your opinion?

If I had the answer to that the world would be a much happier and more peaceful place. Unfortunately I don't, although the likes of Dawkins are doing a grand job.

So then of course you condemn the Bible for saying that we are created in God's image?

Belief in magical resurrection, levitation, impregnation of virgins by ghosts, talking snakes. Y'know, all the really credible stuff.

No, I have no problem with that - in fact that's one reason why I condemn Jesus/Allah for sending defenseless, say, Hindus (ethical, hard-working ones, ones at least as ethical as you and I) to savage and barbaric torture....simply for basically being BORN A HINDU! He refuses every single day for 2000 years (the all-powerful Jesus) to provide a court-room level of evidence that HIS magic is more real than the magic described in the Hindu texts, so of course they are going to simply take the religion of their parents. I blame Jesus, since I'd of course provide said evidence if I was all-powerful. It's not hard to be better, ethically, than the religious heroes.
