    Hello,

so here in France, school are closed, cafe are closed, and anything excepted food shop are closed.
Today there is a rumour that we would have to be confined for 45 days starting tomorrow. Because disasters never come alone, we would have to listen to Macron at 8 P.M to know if we would be actually confined.
A part of parisians are starting to flee the city, fortunately, they would be confined too so the rest of the country won't have to bear them.
There is a very strange atmosphere.

Becoming more hermitic as I go older, I can't say that the coronavirus would impact me too much.

I hope that all of you would be safe from Coronavirus, or all the dangers in the world, I also hope that none of you won't have to suffer to much of the economic consequences of that.

    Good luck.

No more Yellow vests, I guess..

Merci, take care, monsieur VotreAltesse. :)

Same here - mindless restrictions from the government and panic among the general populous.

I think garages are still open. I don't know whether to go ahead and get my car repaired - nothing serious, just some scratches where a wall hit it - or cancel the rdv.
I'm already missing the cafes though.

Honnestly, I think that the government in France went too slow. The epidemic could have been better handled, and we see the difference with asian countries like Japan, South Korea and Taiwan that were effective from the start and so didn't had to go to such extreme. We have to confine only because the government have shown is total incompetence.

How do you stop a plague? You can't.
You just can't be grounded for months and do nothing for the fear of getting infected.
Angela Merkel said 70% of people will get infected. It's not the end of the world, you know. ;)

South Korea/Taiwan/Japan have done that in a better way, and considerably the number of my ancestors that died from tuberculosis/spanish flew, I'm not very excited that we would live that again.
In Italy, people above 60 aren't sometimes healed anymore as they lack of places in hospitals.

Yeah, well imagine what young people are going through - waiting 3 days for the Corona virus test results, so that you can kiss a girl?

What % of that infected 70% will it be the end of the world for.
Unless we test everybody to catch anyone infected not showing any symptoms even or those infected who are inflicted but haven't been formally diagnosed/added to the statistics, we can't really determine the mortality rate.
