Mmmm... in NC they arrest the perp, but in NY they arrest the homeowner who was the target of robbery? That there are idiotic gun laws in NY? I dunno. I suppose either of those will do.
Still not seeing your point - Are you assuming if the intruder can be identified he wont be arrested? If so can you point me to the New York law that supports that?
You see, here in the USA, we have what is known as the Second Amendment to the Constitution. It allows us Americas to have a gun in our homes and to protect ourselves with it. Where did you say you were from again?
In a free country, a person should have the right (protected by the constitution) to defend oneself with whatever means necessary. The Republik of NY feels otherwise and will punish non-criminals for doing so.
