Rep. Thomas Massie, the Republican congressman who represents Northern Kentucky, and Rep. Chip Roy, a Texas Republican, outlined their concerns in a May 13 letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

"Those that damaged property and assaulted police officers on January 6th should rightfully face justice," Massie and Roy wrote in the joint letter. "However, the public outcry and hyper-politicization of the events on January 6th may incentivize prosecutors to use overly aggressive tactics, overcharge, and abuse the power of the federal government in order to satisfy favored political groups."

My inclination is to wait until something smelly happens before you intimate something smelly is happening...

 

How does one "hyper-politicize" an attack on the Capital by Trump supporters? Is that even possible?

 

When you deny there was an "attack" and if there was, that there were even any "T**** supporters" in town, sure....

 

Clearly, women need to be protected from the democrats that oppress them.

 

How much do you want to bet these two were cowering in fear in some barricaded room during it all

 

Nothing... I don't want to question their personal courage, but their lack of political courage/intelligence is clear for all to see...
