republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene filed articles of impeachment against Joe the day after he was inaugurated as President. with ties to the baseless QAnon conspiracy theory she took to Twitter to announce the move against the new president. “I’ve just filed articles of impeachment, we will see how this goes,". as a pro-Trump election fraud conspiracy theorist she was able to use the social media platform after being banned from it for 12 hours last weekend. Twitter blocked her use of her account for violating the rules it put in place following the violence that unfolded at the 6 January Capitol riot. "The account referenced has been temporarily locked out for multiple violations of our civic integrity policy," said a Twitter spokesperson.

She has also been accused of posting false conspiracy theories on Facebook about the Parkland High School shooting, let's hope Joe doesn't have an email issue!

 

I'm a conservative but God this is stupid. If he does something worthy of impeachment I will support impeachment, until then why act like the Dems circa 2017?

I ask that question seriously. Is it something to do with party loyalty and a mastery of the "machine" in one area? Is AOC an analogue on the Dem side? (though she's far from nuts and will be President someday IMO)

Again, serious question. How does this happen. Contrary to popular belief I know and even talk to Republicans, even Trumpers. They're generally no more nuts than other people but how do they then elect people like this?

(Though I have to disagree that it's a mad idea. Congresspeople tend to have a heavy proportion of military training and are people of judgment and character with considerable standing in their neighborhoods by definition. I trust them to be armed more than almost any other group.)

Republicans would be better sever by not playing the hyper partisan games the Democrats played over the last four years.

The Democrats waited at least a couple of weeks into the Trump administration before the first partisan hack introduced articles of impeachment.

Personally, I wondered how Marjorie Taylor Greene was going to cope with the threats and if she knew what she was getting into, especially the threats against her family? Of course someone has to have the courage to stand up to the Democrats, but she is going against people with no scruples.
