No he was opposed to that idea of Luther, he was all for expelling, killing etc as he even used similar language to Luther.

The English king persecuted Jews centuries ago.

As early as 1217, King Henry III of England ordered Jews to wear "on the front of their upper garment the two tables of the Ten Commandments made of white linen or parchment."

During the Crusades there were massacres of Jews in York and London. This antipathy eventually culminated in the expulsion of all Jews from the country in 1290. Most were only allowed to take what they could carry. A small number of Jews favored by the king were permitted to sell their properties first. Almost all evidence of a Jewish presence in England would have been wiped out if it had not been for the efforts of one monk, Gregory of Huntingdon, who purchased all the Jewish texts he could to begin translating them.

From then until 1655, there is nearly no official record of Jews in England.

 

It was ATHEISM that led to the holocaust. Atheists have since been busy trying to distance themselves from all the horrible attrocities, trying to instead assign the blame to Christians. The first target of Luther's verbal and written attacks was the Roman Catholic Church. Despite the Catholic Monk Luther cursing and ranting about the habit of forgiveness for the rich only, then nailing 90 of his 99 thesis on the Wittemberg Dome's door and later having 3 disputes with Catholic Clerics in which Luther denied the most importat dogma like the infaillability of the Curia and the Pope, nobody later committed any atrocities against the Catholics. Cursing and ranting were the contemporary style of discussing. From Luther also the quote during an evening diner: "Warum rülpset un furzet ihr nicht, hat es euch nicht geschmecket?" (Why don't you burp an fart, didn't you like the diner?) is bequeathed. Disgusting from our point of view but different times, different habits. Luther during his time was free to say what he thinks. His opponents could have cursed back at him the same way (the text "About the Lies of the Jews" by the way from the beginning was prohibited to be printed and distributed in the City of Strasburg and in 1595 emperor Rudolph II. prohibited its distribution in the entire German First Reich, also known as "Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation"). Who should have cared in the 20th century about what Luther had said 400 years earlier? Most Germans woldn't even have understood his Old German.
Secondly the German Reich of 1871 had 62.08% Protestants and 36.46% Roman Catholics (1% Jews, 0.46% others like Muslims). Why should those Catholics and "others" care about Luther?

The race concept was published by Madison Grant, the founder of the New York Zoo in the beginning of the 20th century in his book: The Passing of The Great Race. Hitler read the book during his Landsberg prison time and in 1923 sent Grant a Fan letter, calling the book "his bible".
When the Nazis in 1934 published their notorious racist Nuremberg Laws. Germany was the 33rd state in the world to introduce laws of race hygiene to protect the Aryan race. The First ones were California, Sweden, Canada, Switzerland, followed by 27 other US States. German racist laws were published by Hitler himself in the US Journal "Eugenics Weekly" five months before they were released in Germany, receiving frenetic applause.
The Nazis advertized those laws at home with the slogan: We are not alone, followed by the 1927 US Supreme Court decision Buck vs. Bell: It is better for all the world if, instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind...Three generations of imbeciles are enough.
The US Eugenicist Charles M. Goethe in 1934 after returning from Germany wrote to the President of the "Human Betterment Foundation": "You will be interested to know that your work has played a powerful part in shaping the opinions of the group of intellectuals who are behind Hitler in this epoch-making program. Everywhere I sensed that their opinions have been tremendously stimulated by American thought . . . I want you, my dear friend, to carry this thought with you for the rest of your life, that you have really jolted into action a great government of 60 million people."
In 1934 the SS was invited to present German "Race Hygiene" on the meeting of the American Public Health Association in Pasadena/ California.
The Rockefeller Foundation had founded and was main sponsor of the Kaiser Wilhelm Society's Institute for Anthroplogy, Heredity and Eugenics in Berlin Dahlem. Leader: Ottmar von Verschuer. In the institute a doctor of veterinary medicine was working on his doctor thesis in human medicine. His name: Josef Mengele. The sponsor in 1940 was told that "Dr. Mengele has joined the SS to continue his research in Auschwitz".

The relevance of that detail is that "Eugenics" after 1945 was renamed into "Human Genetics" and we are told today that the complete science was "hanged" together with the Nazi Leaders, if we are told anything about it. The truth is: Eugenics is alive and kicking.

 

Hitler was born into a Catholic family and that was as close to Christianity he ever got.

Among them was Dr. Charles Larson, one of America's leading forensic pathologists, who was assigned to the US Army's Judge Advocate General's Department. As part of a US War Crimes Investigation Team, Dr. Larson performed autopsies at Dachau and some twenty other German camps, examining on some days more than 100 corpses. After his grim work at Dachau, he was questioned for three days by US Army prosecutors. [1]

Dr. Larson's findings? In an 1980 newspaper interview he said: "What we've heard is that six million Jews were exterminated. Part of that is a hoax." [2] And what part was the hoax? Dr. Larson, who told his biographer that to his knowledge he "was the only forensic pathologist on duty in the entire European Theater" of Allied military operations, [3] confirmed that "never was a case of poison gas uncovered." [4]
As Dr. Larson and other Allied medical men discovered, the chief cause of death at Dachau, Belsen and the other camps was disease, above all typhus, an old and terrible scourge of mankind that until recently flourished in places where populations were crowded together in circumstances where public health measures were unknown or had broken down. Such was the case in the overcrowded internment camps in Germany at war's end, where, despite such measures as systematic delousing, quarantine of the sick and cremation of the dead, the virtual collapse of Germany's food, transport, and public health systems led to catastrophe.

Perhaps the most authoritative statement of the facts as to typhus and mortality in the camps has been made by Dr. John E. Gordon, M.D., Ph.D., a professor of preventive medicine and epidemiology at the Harvard University School of Public Health, who was with US forces in Germany in 1945. Dr. Gordon reported in 1948 that "The outbreaks in concentration camps and prisons made up the great bulk of typhus infection encountered in Germany." Dr. Gordon summarized the causes for the outbreaks as follows: [5]

Germany in the spring months of April and May [1945] was an astounding sight, a mixture of humanity travelling this way and that, homeless, often hungry and carrying typhus with them ...

Germany was in chaos. The destruction of whole cities and the path left by advancing armies produced a disruption of living conditions contributing to the spread of the disease. Sanitation was low grade, public utilities were seriously disrupted, food supply and food distribution was poor, housing was inadequate and order and discipline were everywhere lacking. Still more important, a shifting of populations was occurring such as few countries and few times have experienced.

Dr. Gordon's findings are corroborated by Dr. Russell Barton, today a psychiatrist of international repute, who entered Bergen-Belsen with British forces as a young medical student in 1945. Barton, who volunteered to care for the diseased survivors, testified under sworn oath in a Toronto courtroom in 1985 that "Thousands of prisoners who died at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during World War II weren't deliberately starved to death but died from a rash of diseases." [6]

Dr. Barton further testified that on entering the camp he had credited stories of deliberate starvation but decided such stories were untrue after inspecting the well equipped kitchens and the meticulously maintained ledgers, dating back to 1942, of food cooked and dispensed each day.
