On the same day that the Oregon Legislature made mask mandates permanent, students across the Columbia River in Washington State are staging a mask protest. https://livebetternow.substack.com/p/mask-rebellion-is-growing-high-school The orgnizer of the mask mandate seems remarkably poised and mature about setting down firm guidelines for the protest. I feel that those members of the Antifa movement could learn a thiing or two from this young man. The school board met but eventually hid from the public in response: https://www.camaspostrecord.com/new...ers-shut-down-washougal-school-board-meeting/ I think the mask mandate is over. There is widespread non-compliance in all rural areas throughout the state of Oregon and I have been through many small towns where there isn't a single person wearing a mask. Masks are little more than facial decorations. Even those with a cursory knowledge of viruses realize that a cloth face mask is in roughly the same proportion as using a chain link fence to keep misquitoes out of your property. After the ridiculous mixed messages that came from Dr. Fauci (the guy who funded the creation of Coved 19) the medical authorities had very little credibility left and after heading into the third year of our two week shutdown and mask mandate, the public has very little patience left for the virtue signalling gesture of decorating one's face. There will always be a few lemmings who will cling to their masks, but wearing useless facial coverings should be a thing of the past except for countries practicing Sharia Law. If you agree with the notion that mask mandates should be permanent with no expiration date, like the Oregon Legislature does, perhaps you could enlighten us with reason why permanent mask mandate outside of Muslim countries is a good idea.
Masks and mandates are nothing but political theater, as evidenced by the many celebrities and politicians who applaud mandates, but have been caught out and about without wearing one. Rules for thee but not for me...
