Their logic is totally screwed up, there is no other cause of death where the tool or device is blamed for the death, only firearms.

Car accident, it's the drivers fault.

Electrocution, it's the electrician or power companies fault.

Drowning, it's the parents of the dead person's fault.

Firearm, it's the firearms fault.

It's like firearms have the magical mechanical power to get up and start shooting people.

What kind of bizarre logic is that?

I have yet to see a headline that read..."Gun went on a shooting rampage". Maybe you can show me one?
