First of all, others said that trained security guards would be required. I don't see you refuting them. Obviously that would lead to huge increases in costs. So maybe you should correct these misguided Righties.

So the little old lady who is a first grade teacher is going to pull out her weapon, and take on the ex-military wacko with an assault weapon. Get real!!!!

I guess the next step will be to fire the little old lady, and only hire mercenaries for teachers. Then the RIGHT's true agenda will be realized, and they can teach our kids all about the NRA and other Neo-Nazi propaganda.

Why train security guard when a school is full of competent adults already?

Not all first grade teachers all little old ladies. When I picture the staff at my kids school, I don't see any of the teachers who aren't physically capable of using a handgun. Of course, I your scenario, the little old lady without a gun simply dies a few seconds before the rest of the shooters targets. I guess you expect her to tackle the shooter during a reload.

Or, we can simply teach the teachers and other staff who volunteer the techniques and actions involved in safe gun handling and how to defend their class against an active shooter.

 

You should be sued for Libel since NRA is not now nor has it ever been a Nazi or Racist organization.

 

Whether you agree with it or not, it's already happening across the country. If you have armed teachers, why would you need trained security guards? Isn't that the reason for arming teachers so you don't have to hire security guards? So far, I've only read about one situation, a 'little old lady' teacher left her gun in the bathroom where it was found by a student.

Discussion pertaining to security guards is not relevant when the topic of discussion pertains to the legal carrying of concealed firearms on school grounds, as is already under way in at least eighteen states. You cannot demonstrate that this is a problem of any sort.

School teachers come from all walks of life. The time of educators being senior citizens has long since passed, and now include able-bodied adults of various ages.

Beyond such, none of the recent school shooters have been ex-military. They have been nothing but disturbed private individuals who demonstrated clear warning signs that something was wrong with them, but no one ever spoke up about what they knew until after the fact.

The above nonsensical claim has just warranted a statement of "that is it." There have been wild, baseless, insane claims being made on the part of yourself, about how anything you do not agree with is nothing but propaganda presented by the national rifle association, and neo-nazi organizations. The put up or shut up rule is now in place. You are going to back up your assessments with actual information, to demonstrate that you are indeed not making up rhetoric on the basis that you are angry at things not going your way. Forum rules dictate that claims must be something that can be proven. If you continue to make these baseless claims with proof of evidence, your posts will be reported to the forum staff for being off topic and flame baiting material, until such time that you have been removed from the forums.

 

Render your guns is to render your freedom. No amount of money or status without it will protect you in imminent time of need.

Personal firearms are literally the last wall of freedom. On the other side of that wall is subservience to authority.

Many around the globe have rationalized this freedom away, assuring themselves that those in power will always act in piloting ways. In the end when one is only left with their screaming voices and hand thrown objects, they are neanderthals against the elite.

I know it may be hard to focus in the dark basement of your mother's house but try to not swallow propaganda in such big doses.

I can offer one starting point, the rest is up to you: Any device, liquid, object, or material can be classified as an "assault weapon" if it's used to harm, maim, or kill another living thing. Firearms are not used for assault by law abiding citizens. Perhaps your angst and ire should be more focused on real criminal activity. There are plenty of examples including fraud, rape, kidnapping, burglary, criminal trespassing, drug dealing, domestic violence, larceny, pyromania, animal abuse, extortion, and robbery.
