Best of luck with that.... microphones are everywhere in DC, and that's his kryptonite....

I saw a video of him speaking to one just today...

    Matter of time..

Hey, my fellow forum member who used a cartoon character as their avatar. I don't think any of these details matter. This is for show and guilt has already been decided in the minds of many. Do I care about either of the corrupt, elderly sex offenders? No. I am sad to see the beginning of a perpetual impeachment ping pong game.

“Why do you ask such a dumb question?” Said Biden. They call me the big guy because that is who I am.

I think McCarthy is doing this to get votes to avoid a shutdown.

He knows it probably won’t even make it out of committee. And, I’ll bet he’s praying it won’t, because there isn’t evidence to actually impeach President Biden.

Everybody knows it does...everybody. We all know none of these foreign entities would dare have anything to do with Hunter if it didn't mean access to Joe...we...all...know...it.

The problem is proof, I have my doubts as to whether there's enough out there. Because when it comes to obtaining proof of a democrats wrongdoing, the burden of proof is astronomically high.

My best guess is absolutely nothing will come of this.

Although I'm in favor of an investigation, I'm not much of a fan of going through the impeachment process. First, a Democratic Senate isn't going to vote to convict even if you find photos of Joe in the drawing room with the candlestick. No option is good. Although I'm generally in favor of giving back to the Democrats as good as they gave, their idiot impeachments of Trump didn't hurt him at all. If anything they showed how unserious the Democrats were.

Maybe the GOP shouldn't be as idiotic as the Democrats when there is zero gain to be had.

On the other hand, if the investigation isn't overly obstructed (hint: it will be obstructed), it might be able to turn up evidence of sufficient criminality to provide the basis for a criminal prosecution. Since the Democrats have pushed us into the banana republic process of prosecuting political enemies, if you find evidence of real crimes we shouldn't shy away from that.

Perhaps the reason the forum's Republicans do not talk about what their party is doing is because what their party is doing is downright strange.

ABC reports, "Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced Tuesday he was ordering House Republicans to move ahead with an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

"Today, I am directing our House committee to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden," McCarthy said at the U.S. Capitol in a short formal statement. He did not take questions from reporters.

"McCarthy previously indicated there would be a full House vote for an impeachment inquiry, as has happened in the past, but as of Tuesday he didn't appear to have the votes to open one. A spokesperson for McCarthy tells ABC News that McCarthy is not expected to hold a vote to launch the impeachment inquiry.

"This logical next step will give our committees the full power to gather the full facts and answers for the American public," he said on Tuesday. "That's exactly what we want to know -- the answers."

The answers to what? McCarthy didn't say.

“These are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption. They warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives. That’s why today I am directing our House (committees) to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden,” McCarthy.

What are the allegations? What did our President do wrong? No one knows, not McCarthy, and not the far-right Republicans in the House. All we get are baseless accusations.

"House Republicans have been investigating for months alleged ties implicating Biden in his son's business dealings, but have so far have not been able to prove any wrongdoing by the president," ABC.

The ludicrous nature of this impeachment inquiry suggests that Trump had a hand in this to take the heat off his 91 charges and four criminal indictments.

Once again Republicans are digging themselves a hole. By their own admission, they don't know what the President did wrong. So, they launch an inquiry to find out if he did anything wrong. That is backwards. The wrongdoing is suppose to come first. Followed by investigations of the wrongful act.

No one would blame them if the forum's Republlicans refuse to defend their party on these issues.

If he did something, then by all means use the law and punish him.

Their is a very stark difference here. The repubs are opening an “inquiry” to find something. Meaning they have nothing right now. So this is 1000% political theatre of distraction ! They cant pass a budget, so they are distracting.

We as a country are so screwed because we keep electing idiots who distract us while they rob us blind!

    Folks, help me out here.

We know for a fact Europe and the US admitted Ukraine made progress on rooting out their corruption.

We know for a fact that US policy was to give Ukraine a loan guarantee.

We know for a fact that US policy did NOT include firing a prosecutor.

So why did Biden demand the prosecutor be fired and why did he threaten to change US policy if he wasn't?

Democrats went right for the jugular time after time and got nothing:

Mueller Investigation - NO TRUMP CONVICTION
Steele Dossier - NO TRUMP CONVICTION
1st Trump Impeachment - NO TRUMP CONVICTION
2d Trump Impeachment - NO TRUMP CONVICTION
Jan 6 - NO TRUMP CONVICTION

Repubs simply open up an "inquiry"...
    AND THE DEMS GO NUTS!!!!

Fair question. Was Trump, a billionaire businessman, just moving money, or was he trying to conceal the money’s origin?

Well, there's at least as much reason to think that he was moving money around his hundreds of LLCs for nefarious purposes as there is for the same for Hunter. Fair?

With the way democrats are going after Trump, if he was doing something funny with LLCs, do you think they’d ignore it?
