    Then maybe we should invade Mexico, turn it into our 51st state and build a wall on it's southern border. While we are invading we can take care of the cartels at the same time. Then the illegals could all become Americans and return to their homes.

    I think we should place US troops on the mexican side of the border to make sure no migrant reaches the US

    Great idea but how far apart should we space them and what should their orders be when they get there? Also if we place them on the Mexican side of the border wouldn't that be an act of war?

    You have to let the commanders in the field make those decisions
