As far as the topic of this thread is concerned, the MI6 chief is by far more authoritative source of information than an anonymous former intelligence official that all these absurd claims are based on. Even according to those claims he did not say what's attributed to him.

Regardless, actions speak louder than words. The CIA, Mossad and MI6 have been actively engaged in subverting Iranian nuclear weapons program for years. This fact is undeniable regardless of whatever an anonymous nobody says in an interview.

The IAEA reported in November 2011 that Iran is engaged in activities that are specific to the development of nuclear weapons and CIA Director David Petraeus stated that the IAEA's report was a "very accurate reflection of reality" and "the authoritative document" on the situation there.

I believe in common sense and a preponderance of evidence. When the CIA, Mossad, MI6, IAEA and a bunch of other organizations act against Iranian nuclear weapons program and Iran clearly has things to hide, believing that one misquoted anonymous interview overrides all the evidence is absurd.
