Michelle Obama says she has ‘low-grade depression’ — blames Trump

In the "You can't make this stuff up" department, multi-millionaire Michelle Obama was kvetching on her podcast, and the former FLOTUS says she's depressed.

Because Trump.

Who knew that massive wealth, entitlement and adoration didn't buy happiness?

The thing is that if I were Michelle Obama?

I'd be depressed that my husband is a sociopathic war criminal, and that I'm adored not for any ACTUAL accomplishment of my own, but because I was a corrupt & spineless war criminal's sassy arm candy.

I say that claiming that whilst giving Trump a free pass is......... well

No accomplishments? How about a best selling book? How about being an example to many in relation to education, nutrition, and simply how to succeed.

Melania has also focused on education and online bullying. Additionally she had a successful career in modeling and has several lines of makeup, designer clothes, and jewelry....before she became first lady.

Now, I'm not going to mock Michelle Obama. She had accomplishments of her own even before her husband became President and she did just fine as a First Lady. Did what most other First Ladies have done. But here you are trying to knock Melania down just because she's married to Trump and your hatred of Trump won't let you be fair...while knocking another poster for "giving Trump a free pass". You never once addressed what the OP was about. All you did was attack Melania. You could have acknowledged that what Michelle did was wrong and left it at that. Instead your hatred couldn't let ya. You're too blinded by it.

I must admit that Trump's the 3rd worst president of the century, and that is certainly nothing to be proud of...

 

Dems have had clinical depression for 3 years now. Those are personal problems. If you can’t deal with loss or being uncomfortable when thing don’t go your way, grow up or seek counseling.

Any issues with the black community are certainly related to her and her husbands inaction. They couldn’t accomplish anything in 8years? And the Dem party is had a hammer lock on that voting block since the 60s, so look in the mirror.

 

Heck if I was Mooch and looked in a mirror I would become severely depressed, it must be rough going through life with a package bigger then her husbands.

That said, please refrain from derisive comments about the First Lady, or Gentleman of countries not your own. It's very poor form and frankly, offensive. Spouses of leaders, especially in Melania Trump's case where here husband isn't a career politician, don't choose this path. They are thrust into the role and do the best they can. If their best is lacking we give them a buy on a personal level. You as a foreigner should refrain from the discussion, period.

By example, I don't opine about Australian politics. I only ask questions and maybe at times discuss historical events.
